Coordinate with other Project Packages, Departments and Stakeholders.
Attend scheduled project meetings, and prepare Agenda and Minutes of Meetings.
Follow up with the relevant parties to ensure that agreed actions in the Meetings been achieved.
Prepare and maintain NCR log to monitor Contractor’s performance
Provide QA/QC support for the following activities:
- Monitor the activities on the Project in order to ensure that the Contractor operates to ISO 9001:2008 standard
and contractual requirements, through regular reviews, inspections and QMS Audits.
- Review and recommend approval of Contractor's QA/QC personnel, based on their technical qualifications and QA/QC specific skills and experience.
- Review and recommend approval for Contractor's Project Quality Plan (PQP), if found compliant.
- Review the Contractor's Method Statements from the QA/QC perspective, and recommend approval, if found satisfactory.
- Review and recommend approval for Contractor's ITPs attached to each Method Statement, if found satisfactory.
- Review root cause analysis, corrective actions and preventive actions, generated on account of an already recorded non-conformance, and recommend approval / close-out, as the case may be, if found adequate.
- Provide QA/QC related inputs and feedback and provide comments on meeting minutes.
Review of Inspectors’ Daily Reports
General oversight of Inspectors’ daily activities including works assignments, on-site performance and guidance on the supervision of the Contractor’s operations.
Review and Approval of the Contractor’s Shop Drawings.
• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate activities and operations of architectural design projects.
• Manage project performance including recommending preventive/corrective actions to ensure that project delivery is achieved on time, within budget and required standards.
• Ensure efficient and effective level of design management by providing constructive approach to complete the project with highest quality standards.
• Manage the scope of work and ensure project deliverables are provided on time and in compliance with contract requirements.
• Participate in design meetings and prepare meeting agenda including frequency, function, required attendees, chairperson and responsibility for recording of meetings and circulating reports and other information.
• Assign and co-ordinate presentation meetings / workshops.
• Manage the technical design process through the design stages - covering design works, technical services, surveys, studies, site investigations, reports, statutory approvals.
• Manage and implement Client’s expectations / requirements into design briefs.
• Manage of stakeholders and ensure appropriate engagement throughout the design process.
• Review the design to ensure compliance with all project requirements, design standards, specifications and sustainability aspects.
• Assist the commercial managers to review the design and ensure compliance with project budget.
• Ensure proper implementation of integrated design process in order to develop sustainable design solutions
• Manage the implementation value engineering and life cycle cost processes.
• Manage the design review process, including distribution of design information, receiving, collating and adjudicating comments and managing implementation of any changes resulting from comments.
• Assist the sustainability manager with the review all design deliverables for compliance with the sustainability requirements and recommend preventive / corrective action where necessary.
• Review Consultant procurement plan, approved vendors list and process documentation / requirement.
• Evaluate tender documents and submission.
• Manage the design schedule with respect to changes or delays and develop risk management plan.
• Assist the team to develop the design management elements of the Project Management Plan.
• Conduct reviews of specialist supplier/contractor prepared submittals, respond to RFIs and attend site meetings to resolve construction issues related to Architecture and Interior design.
Sustainability:
- Prepare concept design and sustainable analysis.
- Provide early project design guidelines for project setting and design compliance with sustainability standards.
- Review of architectural design concept for relevant building rating system conformance.
- Review of project-specific and technical aspects at any stage for sustainable design and operations incorporating LEED/ESTIDAMA building rating system criteria (reports, presentations and workshops).
- Assist the team to develop the green community/building rating system process management plan.
