Site execution of pre-commissioning, commissioning and function testing of instrument system panels, field instrument panels, field instrumentation,
Having working experience of testing Cause & effect and Process Logic from HMI.
Carry out isolations / de-isolations on instrument equipment.
Conduct / attend daily Tool Box Talks to ensure full understanding of work scope as per PTW requirements.
Site management of commissioning activities, tools, ship-loose items, consumables and spares.
Ensure that commissioning testing activities are conducted safely and complies with the site PTW and safety regulations and procedures.
Liaise with vendors for providing assistance in carrying out pre-commissioning and commissioning scope of work related to vendor packages.
Carry out troubleshooting of faults arising during commissioning tests.
Completing & submission of commissioning documentation such as check sheets, test procedures, red-line mark-up drawings, etc. completed during commissioning tests.
Close out of punch list.
Attend Site acceptance tests.
Maintain latest drawings/ documentation on site including all red-line markup drawings.
Preparation of daily timesheet submissions.
Adherence to commissioning schedule.
Plan and schedule all maintenance works, including work and safety procedures, labour & equipment, spare parts and material requirements
Daily, periodical and shutdown maintenance works are carried out in safe, timely and efficient manner
Carry out engineering studies of E&I works in modifications, revamping or upgrading of plant facilities to reduce plant trouble
Carry out technical investigation of plant problems, evaluate findings and recommend countermeasures or propose new ideas to enhance reliability of E&I system and equipment
Manage and maintain proper maintenance records & reports in accordance to industrial and regulatory requirements
Manage and maintain proper stock level of spare parts inventory
Provide training and guidance to junior engineers and contractors to maintain safe work record
Ensure maintenance costs are controlled within budget
Participate in internal and external audits
Able to perform corrective Instrumentation and Controls Maintenance for all equipment.
Carry out inspections as per daily maintenance schedule; attend defects, breakdowns, including the repairing and calibration of Instrumentation and Controls Equipment
Conduct disassembling and assembling of Instrumentation and Controls Equipment and of Gas turbine, Steam Turbine, Generator, Air Compressors.
Perform hands on maintenance and troubleshooting experience of DCS control system, Field Instruments such as transmitters & gauges, electronic cards.
Assist the Maintenance I&C Engineers to troubleshoot/ fault diagnosis/ failure analysis to determine cause of failure
Assist the Maintenance I&C Engineers to develop Risk Assessment and mitigation measures for every Maintenance job in the plant
Apply for Permit to Work (PTW) as the Competent Person (CP) for every Maintenance work in the plant.
Supervise contractors and liaise with other maintenance crafts and operations technicians to execute maintenance activities
Withdraw and prepare spares from warehouse for job execution.
Prepare daily updates on Maintenance activities for the day to all stakeholders (operations)
Successful candidate can be appointed as part of the Company Emergency Response Team.
Carry out testing, calibration, installation, repair, and inspection of monitoring devices.
Perform electrical and instrumentation maintenance activities and follows preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance schedules.
Experience in instrument calibration, commissioning, and troubleshooting (such as pressure/Flow/Temperature/Level/Analyzers).
Hands-on knowledge of mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, cable harness, DCS, PLC and electrical system preferred.
Ability to interpret schematic drawings of pneumatic loops, hardware relay logic diagrams, PLC control programs, motor control circuit diagrams, etc.
Any other task as assigned by the Superior.
Perform daily preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on plant-wide instrumentation systems. Installation, Configuration, calibration and troubleshooting of PT, DPT, LT, TT and Mass flow meter.
Conduct of inspection, testing and repair of commissioning equipment on Instrument system, control and component under the maintenance team.
Condition monitoring and predictive maintenance of critical instruments and take corrective actions to avoid breakdown.
Knowledge in creating risk assessment for non-routine jobs.
Follow Instrument maintenance work planning and scheduling including procedures.
Ensures quality of work within the set time frame, record and report.
Ability to work on remove and reinstall units, configuring, calibrating and maintaining control, measurement and indicating instrumentation (Pneumatic, analog and digital)
Coordinate and liaise with contractors in supervision of statutory equipment inspection and testing at site.
Always follow and make sure plant safety rules and regulations.
Participate in monthly safety committee meetings.
