Hse Engineer at Maridive offshore projects

1. Supervise, Co-ordinate and monitor plant loss control programs such as accident prevention, training, inspection auditing at process area.
2. Analyze accidents and recommend actions to update the programs to control and minimize losses. Prepare reports on accident statistics, analysis of HSE incidents and follow up till completion.
3. Communicate with client representatives at site, also with project manager during process to perform operation in safety environment and controlled manner.
4. Develop, conduct & supervise practical emergency simulations drills for situations-Hydrocarbon Leakage, H2S leakage, well blow out, Emergency shutdown ESD/Fire shutdown FSD, Vessel collision, man overboard, platform evacuation, medical emergency, training programs, safety meetings.
5. Carry out Risk Assessment, HAZID and HAZOP study as a team member, identify hazards and mitigation.
6. Review designs of new projects/modifications to ensure compliance with safety, also coordinate and communicate with other departments regarding projects operation and activities.
7. Integrity checks of other process and safety systems.
8. Participant in incident control during accident, emergencies or environmental pollution at site and remain on- call for 24 hours.
9. Advise, supervise, monitor and surveillance of safety, occupational health and environmental rules and regulations.
10. Design, Develop and conduct Safety Training Programs for Company & Contractor Employees at site.
11. Planning and monitoring of scheduled site safety inspections.
12. Enhance cultural awareness and personal responsibility of all employees and contractors at site.
13. Coordinate and Attend third party inspections on lifting and life saving appliances at offshore vessels.
14. Participate in new projects tender’s documentation preparation.
15. Reports to QHSE Department manager.
