Duties Responsibilities: -
•Maintain a high profile in the promotion of safe working conditions and practices so as to ensure a safe working environment for all Employees and Contractors by performing frequent audits to the Contractors to ensure that the Operator’s rules and regulations are being met in terms of Competence Management and Safe work practices.
•Lead and carry out technical investigations and compile professional technical reports for all safety and/or mission critical failures.
•Supervise the preventive and corrective maintenance of Close Circuit Television system which includes IP based CCTV cameras, Network Video Recorders, Storage Expansion Box, PELCO Endura, Network System Manager and CCTV Servers.
•Supervise the preventive and corrective maintenance of Public Address and Passenger Information System.
•Supervise the preventive and corrective maintenance of Train On-Board systems (IP CCTV, Ethernet Switch, On-board control unit, CAN devices, PIS/PAS, Emergency call box, Narrow band and Broadband radio, WiFi).
•Supervise the preventive and corrective maintenance of Multi Service Network supported by Optical Fiber. It includes the routine maintenance of Switches (LAN/WAN provided by Alcatel Lucent), ODF, SDH ring and Optical Fiber splicing.
•Effective planning of resources for responding to emergency faults related to communications systems.
•Playing a pivotal role in developing a competent team by guiding them and enriching their knowledge related to various techniques involved in troubleshooting of the system related faults.
•Coordinating and leading the non-regression testing for new software and patches of OCS.
•Supporting and supervising the installation, testing & commissioning of communication systems along with contractors and system providers (Thales, MHI, NEEDA, ATLAS).
•To conduct inspection for all Signaling & Telecom material deliveries.
•To conduct inspection of all ongoing activities for signaling & Telecommunication installation.
•Monitor construction / installation, etc. progress to ensure acceptable quality of vessels operations.
•Guarantee that only calibrated certified equipment is used for tests at site and keep the calibration certificate list updated for subcontractor scope of work, and monitor and follow up calibration log. Support the handover process and associated documentation to the Testing and Commissioning Team.
•Maintenance & Troubleshooting and T & C of Telecom subsystems such as CCTV, ACS (Access Control System), LAN WAN, BBR, Radio, PABX, Master Clock & PAS / PIS.
•Installation, testing & commissioning of Intrusion Alarm Systems - IP Surveillance Systems (CCTV) and Access Control Systems (ACS / IDAS) and Telecom related equipment’s.
•Managing DELL SAN storage, NVR server, BOSCH CCTV systems (Box, PTZ, and Dome Camera) & troubleshooting of server / Service failure in VM-ware in Cent OS.
•Familiar with Testing & Commissioning of CCTV, Access Control System and PABX.
•Maintenance and monitoring of Telecom faults, alarms and interfaces along with CCTV, PIS, PES, DRM, FDAS etc.
•Follow up vendors on As-built activities within Telecom as discipline engineer
•Follow up vendors and vendor technical documentation and participate in test activities / FAT.
•Ensure that vendor and engineering information required for progress of the work is identified and communicated to the project
•Support for Vendor teams for cable Installation and station to station connectivity with patch integrations.
•Open PTW for CM & PM related activities without any operational impact.
•Coordinating with planning teams for Track and Possession limit access for corrective maintenance activities.
•Provide short weekly report about the progress of the activities at site.
•Ensure that all work is carried out asper approved method of statement & drawings.
• Internal inspection of the material shipment received to the site as per attached delivery and material submittal request and getting approval
from consultant.
• Ensuring site QC compliance through on-site surveillance or via QC Inspector reporting. Visual, Feedback and reporting to the Quality &
Construction Manager.
• Co-ordination with other branches in all other matters to ensure smooth functioning of signaling and telecommunication system.

•Responsible for the testing of all signaling and telecommunication equipment.
•Preparation of plans and estimates safe execution of works.
•Perform the Interface test between other system (Signaling, Rolling stock, AFC, MEP, BACS, Environmental control system).
•Co-ordination with officers and staff of other branches in all other matters to ensure smooth functioning of signaling and telecommunication system.
•Ensuring supply of approved quality materials and tools for the installation and maintenance of the equipment.
•Ensuring that no alteration to an installation is made, which is a deviation from the original approved plan diagram or specification, without the authority of the Signaling and Telecommunication Manager.
•Analyzing the failures from the reports submitted and taking remedial measures to eliminate recurrence of the failure.
•Monitoring and troubleshooting the Servers (VMware), Switches, LAN and network infrastructure.
•Organize and plane of all the tests within his scope (prerequisites, EHS, tools, work permit, authorizations…etc.).
•Manage the sub-contractors for timely implementation and verification of the system interfaces requirements and designs on site during the construction and testing and commissioning stages.
•Support in final Systems Integrated Test and Trial Running of the System which are being managed by Qatar Rail & PMC to ensure that all interfaces’ requirements are fully and successfully validated for revenue operation.
•Schedule Site Test and Commissioning activities w.r.t system readiness.
•Develop test plans and perform post-installation testing to verify performance. Identify, isolate and rectify performance issues.
•Proficient in working with multiple vendors including telecom carriers to manage Network routing, provisioning and testing.
•Support the Testing & Commissioning Manager in his role and activities to develop and co-ordinate the necessary resources, skills, processes, methods and tools for the implementation of the system testing & commissioning activities.
•Liaise and share support to onshore and offshore testing team in test platform.
•Prepare and share daily reports to T&C Manager regarding system implementation and testing progress.
•Perform the SIT, SAT and E2E as per the documents like ICD, test cases, test procedures.
•Conduct Quality Control checks at site and ensure that the works fully comply with approved drawings and specifications
•Assist in controlling the works of subcontractors to ensure compliance to project specifications
•Conduct Material Approval Inspections as required with the Customer Representatives
•Conduct Root Cause Analysis to support the resolution of problems faced at site
•Work with the Thales team, as well as subcontractors and suppliers to ensure effective coordination of activities at site
•Produce and submit Daily Progress Reports, and highlight any risks as appropriate
•Verify that all materials and equipment being delivered to site for use have the right documentation to ensure conformity to requirements
Haramain High Speed Railway Project :- Worked as a QC Engineer and responsible to develop the Quality Control Plan of the material, drawing and construction work.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:-
• Perform electrical QA / QC activities with the project Management team to ensure
successful and safe project execution.
• Ensure the contractor is following the requirement of approved shop drawing and
approved material
• as per the project specification and standard.
• Ensure subcontractor compliance with all relevant quality assurance plans and
review the subcontractor documentation for quality improvement technique.
• Review drawing and submitting the new transmittal of drawing to consultant,
submittal of technical
• Inspect the construction workman ship according to their work quality giving
internal site instruction and Non-Conformance Report to improve the quality of
work.
• Review the shop drawing as per the tender drawing and compare from the client
Bill of Quantity as per the project specification.

• Ability to review all changes and variations to evaluate the impact of those on the
project time frame and schedule.
• Perform and monitor the daily activity of the site engineers report and explain the
new work for the site engineers and attend daily meeting with client and the
internal construction team.
• Review the Shop drawing as per specification and submit to the consultant, after
getting approval
• from consultant release for construction.
• Internal inspection of the material shipment received to the site as per attached
delivery and material submittal request and getting approval from Consultant.
• Preparation of Method of Statement documents under the Guidance of Quality
Assurance and Construction Manager for the installation of the equipment’s.
• Preparation of Technical Query under coordination with the design and
construction team and submission to the consultant and after getting approval
release for the project.

quality of work and the raise RFI to the consultant and getting approval of site
