• Review and update supply chain practices in accordance with new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations, or laws.
• Select transportation routes to maximize economy by combining shipments or consolidating warehousing and distribution.
• Develop material costs forecasts or standard cost lists.
• Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers and freight forwarders.
• Monitor forecasts and quotas to identify changes or to determine their effect on supply chain activities.
• Document physical supply chain processes, such as workflows, cycle times and position responsibilities.
• Design and implement plant warehousing strategies.
• Confer with sales departments to forecast demand and create supply plans that ensure availability of products.
• Define performance metrics for measurement, comparison and evaluation of supply chain factors, such as product cost and arrival time.
• Manage activities related to strategic or tactical purchasing, planning, inventory control, warehousing and receiving.
• Evaluate and select information to improve tracking and reporting of products distribution, storage and inventory.
• Prepare and Follow-up Purchase Orders
• Chose The Freight Way, Contact With The Forwarders and Chose the Best Rate.
• Prepare The IN-Voucher.
• Prepare The Suppliers Payments and follow-up the payments as per payment Terms.
• Contact and arrange purchase agreements with local suppliers.
