ELEMKA is a Specialized Trading and Construction Company dealing with supply, install and technical support of civil engineering application materials mostly for bridge and road construction, among them to mention bridge bearings, expansion joints and post-tensioning. Furthermore, ELEMKA is providing Inspection, Maintenance, Retrofitting & Monitoring Services for bridges and structural elements. Main Responsibilities:  Supervise the ongoing projects and assist in evaluation & solution of potential field problems.  Preparing new proposals, reviewing project requirements and negotiating contractors/clients.  Handle the Business Development including develop and maintain strong business relationships and to provide market feedback regarding competitive offerings, tender results, prospect needs, and generate new business development ideas.  Coordinate with the supply department for the received inquiries and supplying materials for the projects.  Reports to the Technical Dept. raising strategic/technical issues to ensure project complies with all engineering standards and specifications.

Construction Supervision of Kuwait First Ring Road Group 1 - MPW Contract RA/106

Responsibilities involve supervision on the construction of three elevated bridges with 34 piers, seven at-grade bridges, five troughs with 3000 tension piles, four pedestrian bridges, three utility bridges, three MSE ramps, two retaining walls, two pump stations, approximately two km of box culvert installation, sanitary sewer installation by micro-tunneling, water main installation, and upgrade of approach and surrounding roadways and utilities.



Main Responsibilities:

 Carry out different planned site inspections for Bridges & Troughs and make sure that any activity offered for the inspection has an approved shop drawing, method statement, quality control procedure and inspection & test plan.
 Closely monitor all site activities to ensure quality and safety of work is in compliance with contract requirements and specifications, good construction practice, only approved materials are used, compliance with shop drawings, and report to Section Engineer.
 Supervise piling works, post tensioning works, concrete pours and road works, and check continuously materials delivered to site.
 Frequency checks formwork/scaffolding systems and ensure quality, safety and constructability aspects are met.
 Ensure that personnel of the assigned group engage in safe work practices in compliance with site-specific safety procedures and construction standards.
 Assist in reviewing shop drawings, method of statements, calculations, payments, and make sure that all site conditions are properly addressed in the As-Built drawings.
