Key Responsibilities:
• Managed and oversaw the whole spectrum of steel structure erection on the research labs and other building (5000 tons of steel structure), whilst ensuring strict adherence to organizational policies and procedures.
• Provided support to catwalk and metallic ceiling, regularly following the material supply, simultaneously conducted fabrication and erection for the same on 4 research labs in alignment with the organizational goals.
• Managed and monitored the decoration metal works including handrail, stair, frames and grating in line with organizational standards.
• Inspected project materials and other civil works including gypsum board, painting works at site to ensure compliance with codes, ordinances and established quality control plans and procedures.
• Oversaw finishing works at south research labs (60 dunum) including decorative glass, wood, Stainless handrail, painting, false ceiling, diacaustic ceiling, doors, fibber gypsum, gypsum board and furniture.
• Conducted quality/ safety audits to ensure adherence to quality and safety norms during the entire course of project execution.
Highlights:
• Served as a site engineer in Samra2 Power Station project installation of two frames GT 9000E Gas Turbine (civil work).
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitored and coordinated overall work plan for all ongoing projects to ensure work is assigned and completed on time without compromising on quality.
• Handled whole gamut of activities including earth works, excavation work and structural backfilling including testing for layers and slope protection works (rip-rap), thus ensured proper functioning in an effective way.
• Supervised and monitored the site labor force and the work of subcontractors to ensure timely completion of the project.
• Coordinated with Senior Site Engineer for appraising quality standards, safety measures on the site and ensured that all operational regulations are adhered to.
• Oversaw the safety/operational reliability of gas turbine, carried out gas turbine foundation, buildings and other foundations around gas turbine in support of the company’s mission and core objectives.
• Actively involved in creating roads around the substation along with building pipe trenches, electrical trenches, hydrant pipes of gas turbine and drainage system around substation and other axillaries of gas turbine ascertaining better work flow.
