MEP project manager at Saudi Rama company.
I am responsible for 1 big MEP project, at King Fahad Air Base in Taif, our client is Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF), British Aerospace Engineering (BAE), and main contractor is Albawani construction company.
My responsibilities are including but not limited to the following:
- Submit Technical submittal for approvals for all MEP materials, HVAC, Plumping, Electrical, &Low current systems.
- Managing Technical office staff, site engineers, for all site works and activities.
- Supervision for generation of all shop drawings, co-ordination drawings, sections, as built drawings, for all activities as Electrical& low current systems.
- Attend meetings with client, BAE, Albawni, Burohappold regarding weekly reports, time schedule follow, solving problems, …….etc.
• Conceptual design to final Design for electrical power and low current systems.
• Preparation of B.O.Q. and specifications. Invitation & evaluation of bids.
• Finalization of the bids for all the main contractors and award of contract.
• Procurement of all Electrical equipment and material like Switchgear, Transformer, Panel boards, Lighting Fixtures etc.
• Procurement of all the low currents material and final evaluation based on technical specification and price wise of quotation for all the suppliers and award the job.
Co-ordinate the Engineering issues such as HVAC, Fire fighting, plumping, Architecture, structure beams, and steel structure.
Following up document control activities & Preparation of tech. Correspondences.
Selecting / submitting Electrical material for approval.
Preparing technical evaluation for subcontractor.
Voltage drop & short circuit calculations, grounding & lightning protection system calculation and the Power single line diagram for all systems.
• Participate Following up the preparation & submitting of design / shop drawing & field sketches for all Electrical works such as power (sockets, kitchen Equipment. disconnect switches, cables, cable tray & ladder, fire pump & domestic water pumps control panels, water treatment, Chillers .AHU, Fanes, requirements), Motor control center MCC’S, Elec. (Ring Main Units, TRANSFORMER, switchboards, bus way and panel boards), Elevators, Escalators and lighting (technical & decorative, Dimming systems) B.M.S., Security (CCTV & MATV), Electrical hardware, background music system, Addressable Fire alarm, Telephone system, Intercom and (Theater & Cinema) shop drawing according to contract documents to ensure compliance with the contract
Design engineer for designing electrical works of (residential, commercial and industrial) for all projects.
Drawing AutoCAD (single line diagrams, power cable raceways and networks) design MCC, Switchgears and Control Panels includes load selectivity& discrimination, demand loads at distribution boards, deal with (Royal Commission of Jubail and Yanbu).
Design and supervision all electrical planes :
(site electrical, lighting, power outlets, A/C, fire alarm system, telephone, data network, riser diagram, loads calculations and schedule, single line diagram and panel boards) for any project scale.

Execution, Testing and commissioning 11\.4 KV substations (CT, VT, POWER TRANSFORMER, SWITCHGEAR AND CONTROL PANEL)and electric systems,
including LV power distribution, lighting & small power, grounding and lightning protection, voice and data communications, fire detection and alarm, security, and Other low current systems for any scale building projects.
