Joined the organization as Finance Manager and accepted the responsibility to structure and provide essential framework of statutory compliance, maintain policies and procedures and management reporting to aid in decision making process
Since the Company is in pre-operating phase of building an industrial complex, got an opportunity to get handy experience in following area on top of day-to-day finance & accounting functions:
- Liaising with professional firms in preparation and finalization of:
i. Feasibility study report
ii. Market studies
iii. Financial model
iv. Conducting financial due diligence
v. Preparation of Finance & Accounting PGPs (Policies, Guidelines & Procedures)
In addition to above; handling following day-to-day F&A functions:
- Leading & guiding accounting team to perform day-to-day transactions in accordance with Company’s policies & procedures.
- Liaising with external auditor to conduct statutory audit & filing of of zakat/tax return in line with Country’s accounting standards
- Preparing monthly management reporting package
- Preparing periodical budgets and monitoring budgetary controls
Leading accounting team of an Under-Formation Saudi Closed Joint Stock Company; ascending in Inorganic Chemical Industry.
Since the Co. is in establishment phase; I am mainly involved in:
> Assisting in Preparation of Feasibility Studies, Business Plan, Financial Due Diligence, Pre-Operating cost Audit etc.
> Budgeting, Forecasting & Day-to-Day accounting transactions supervision, performed by accounting team.
- Lead Financial Accounting Team
- Preparation of Financials for In-House Reporting
- Preparation of Financials for Foreign Share Holders
- Other Management Reports Preparation
- Key Closing tasks e.g. Accruals, Provisions, Adjustments etc.
- Responsible for Inter-Co. Accounts of 24 i2-Companies around the world
- Working on Integrated ERP System (Dynamics - EXAPTA)
Debut of the career, happened to learn a lot in span of around 4 years.
Studying for Professional certification for CMA
2 years diploma in managerial accounting, covering 10 different subjects of advance accounting
Accredited by ASCB (Europe) Ltd. U.K Training in Quality Assurance, Auditing Quality Management
Bachelor of Commerce with standard subjects
Web Development Certification using: HTML Coding, Front Page, Macro Media Flash, VB & JAVA scripting and ASP
