Responsible For all Information technology tasks
Ensure regular and proper data back-up library is maintained at all times, ensuring all required
file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes
or disks are created, and media is recycled and sent off site as necessary.
Install new / rebuild existing servers and configures hardware, peripherals, services, settings,
directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures
Installing, supporting and maintaining new server hardware and software infrastructure and
managing the dissemination of software upgrades and patches.
Repair and recover from hardware or software failures.
Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server
resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying
completion of scheduled jobs.
Ability to ensure appropriate and up-to-date documentation is in place and maintained which
accurately describes the installed IT infrastructure.
Communicate with system users, investigate, trouble-shoot, and resolve system problems so that
user problems are resolved quickly and satisfactorily.
Oversees troubleshooting, archiving, and disaster recovery and provides expert support when
necessary.
Contribute to and maintain system standards.
Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system
administration tasks.
Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities.
Configure / add new services as necessary.
Coordinate and communicate with impacted constituencies.
Executing for the hotel IT projects such as V-laning, wireless project, Global active directory
