1. Responsible for implementing & maintaining the company HSE policy, occupational health and safety management system, HSE programs and the related procedures.
2. Leading the HSE team inside the project (HSE engineers and technicians) to perform their assigned job tasks and help them improving their HSE experience and skills.
3. Giving the HSE advice to the organization’s management, staff & other levels in the organization.
4. Preparation of a suitable HSE training plan relevant to the types of hazards in the work place with the preparation of the suitable training material in a good and attractive method of presentation.
5. Help improving the HSE culture in the company project by creative methods and positive motivations.
6. Conducting the HSE training for staff on the different HSE items in a planned training program compatible with the project related hazards and needs.
7. Performing planned and unplanned safety inspections and audits to find out the points of defects in the system.
8. Involvement and participation in the risk assessment process and help and train the technical department’s supervisors in preparation and carrying out risk assessment records for their designated activities.
9. Investigation of near misses, incidents and accidents occur inside the workplace and outside related to the work.
10. Coordinate with the labor office about the different issues demanded by the Egyptian legislative laws.
11. Responsible for the preparation of the project emergency response plan and the effective implementation of the plan and so the ensuring of the availability of the emergency equipments and facilities and finally ensuring the effective training of the emergency teams as per the Egyptian legislative laws.
12. Responsible for keeping the related HSE records of the project including the HSE key performance indicators.
