Responsible for ensuring the safe delivery of all projects and in accordance the company policy & procedures and adhering to all statutory and regulatory legislation.
- Working closely with clients to understand their needs.
- Managing the day-to-day operational aspects of the project.
- Risk management & responses monitoring.
- Attending stakeholders meetings & manage communication.
- Assemble and coordinate project staff
- Producing timing, costing and scoping documentation.
- Establishing the overall success criteria for a project, including; time, cost, technical and performance parameters.
- Progress reporting & presenting to higher management & stakeholders.
- Monitoring all work in accordance with schedules.
- Developing and reviewing study protocols.
- Producing & maintaining project management plans.
- Monitoring and managing all contractors, consultants and third party suppliers within each project.
- Maintaining and upgrading existing systems as required
- Designing new computer systems and frameworks
- Troubleshooting technical issues
- Collaborating with Business Analysts, Project Leads and IT team to resolve issues and ensuring solutions are viable and consistent
- Creating system guidelines and manuals for the organization
- Running training sessions and workshops on system processes
- Conducting regular reviews of systems and generating reports on efficiencies and improvement areas
- Structuring and prioritizing business requirements and communicating plans with stakeholders for review and approval
- Delegate duties and tasks within the team members.
- Review completed tasks to ascertain compliance with standards.
- Monitor all team members and provide necessary advice and guidance.
- Perform periodic risk assessments and initiate risk control strategies.
- Coach all team members and motivate them to produce desired results.
- Organize regular seminars and trainings to teach team members new techniques and methods.
- Keep up with trends in the constantly evolving information technology industry.
- Perform regular IT audit to discover areas of weaknesses and fortify them.
- Work alongside other departments to achieve company goals and visions.
- Write and forward regular reports to the management.
- Manage special assignments of complex technical challenges in the department.
- Perform regular appraisal of team member’s performance and devise strategies to help with improvement.
