Responsibilities as MEP Projects Coordinator:

Pre-construction Phase:

-Review MEP contractor shop drawing prior to submittal for service co-ordination and co-ordination with other construction elements.
-To advice on any impact on services caused by Architectural changes and raiseQuery to MEP Manager&Consultant.
-Review material/ equipments technical submittals from MEP contractor for specification compliance.
-Produce equipements & builder- work scope Schedule for all MEP equipments detailing construction and maintenance requirement for equipments.
-Review of method statements from MEP contractor with respect to installation worksand logistics for equipment positioning.
-To liaise with MEP Manager on matter seeking advise/requiring assistance.
-To assist internally QS and Planning department for update MEP system progress.

Construction Phase:

-Ensuring that services provisions clearance is provided in time for structure.
-To provide technical advice to construction team.
-To oversee MEP service installation under civil contractor scope of works.
-Close inspection for MEP contractor installation works.
-Carry out site walks and inspection for service installation, identifying poor quality elements and advise construction team and MEP Manager.
-Carry out inspection for MEP Contractor material along with QA/QC and Consultant.
-Ensure that MEP site instruction/NCR are closed out.
-To inspect concealed MEP service installation prior to closure of void /riser etc in conjunction with QA/QC and obtaining consultant sign off.
-Ensure that Company HSE policies are implemented at site in coordination with HSE department.

Responsibilities as Senior Electrical Engineer:
 
-Design for electrical systems according to the Egyptian Electrical Code,  BS and IEC,  generating Professional Electrical 
Design Drawings,  initiating Load Schedules,  Single Line Diagrams,  Quantity Takeoff sheets,  BOQ and Specifications,  
providing a Full CAD package with ETAP power model and detailed calculations for the various electrical systems.

Responsibilities:
-Supervise and provide technical support for the electrical installations in the hotel.

-Handle the technical design and calculations for the operator electrical requirements for the industrial kitchens and equipment generating the corresponding Shop drawings, Details, SLD’s Voltage Drop Calculations and Load Schedules.

-Perform studies on the Power & Control circuits for the Motor Control Centers for all the mechanical equipment.

-Design and implement the External Landscape and Façade Lighting for the project and supervise the installation team.

-Provide electrical power connectivity to the Low Current Systems \[CCTV, Public Address, Fire Alarm and BMS\].

-Ensure the installations to be done as per the local and international standards \[SEC, Civil Defense, NFPA and NEC\].

Responsibilities:

-Provide support to the electrical team on-site, Resolve technical issues with the Designer, Determine and recommend solutions to construction discrepancies.

-Coordinate with the Procurement and Materials groups to confirm availability of materials and equipment and follow the delivery dates to meet project milestones.

-Revise IFC drawings as per the project requirements and design general standards, Prepare Sketches and Shop Drawings as necessary to complete the installations.

-Supervise installation of Lighting Trunking, Photocells, Fire and Gas Detection Systems \[VESDA\] conduiting, Infrared Sensor Wiring, Explosion-proof components, Distribution Boards, Cable Laying, Glanding and Terminations.

-Assembly and Testing of MCC Panels, MV and LV Panels and UPS Systems.

Responsibilities:

-Responsible for the Electrical Installations inside Tower LV Room, Busbar Installations, Electrical Rooms of a 64 Floors Residential Tower comprising Power System Cables, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm, Containment for LPG Gas system and Garbage Disposal System along with the Flats Metering Cabinets.

-Handle Installations and Testing of all Electrical Systems for the residential flats of the first 34 Floors.

-Supervise Power Cabling and Machine connections for Mechanical Equipments (AHU’s, FHU’s, Fire Fighting Pumps, Jockey Pumps, Water Supply Pumps, Secondary Chilled Water Pumps and Lifts).

-Carry out site surveys and prepare technical reports for the progress of work.

-Ensure the installations are performed in line with the Project Specifications and the relevant requirements of local and International Standards \[ADDC, BS and IEC\].


Working with the Projects Estimation Department for Studying & Quoting Projects under the Tender Stage; using the Specifications, Project Drawings, and BOQ along with the communications with vendors/suppliers.
