Key Responsibilities
Ensuring timely completion of repairs/maintenance activities and the availability
Cataloguing and disseminating operating instruction manual to all users for ensuring proper and safe handling of equipment
Assist Project Engineers on construction projects
Preparing a comprehensive preventive maintenance schedule for all Equipment
Monitoring stock level of spare parts and consumables as provided in service
contract
responding to breakdowns
compliance of maintenance quality to reference standards
diagnosing faults
repairing equipment
the notification of obsolete equipment, with request for relevant elimination from assets
supervising engineering and technical staff
the collection and entry of data necessary to update the facility and equipment management archive
Assisting in technically evaluating potential suppliers, if required by client
obtaining specialist components, fixtures or fittings
on the basis of programmed activities and operating conditions, prompt notification of spare part
Ensuring strict compliance on disposal of industrial wastes
managing budgets
maintaining statistical and financial records
ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation
creating maintenance procedures
Assisting in preparing annual maintenance budget
upkeep of certification and equipment servicing
General housekeeping in all work area
Hospital maintenance engineers are responsible for maintaining all electronic equipment and computer systems all round company and maintaining all electronic related equipment to be always in good condition

Key Accountabilities:
Receiving, acquisition, forwarding, handling and closing-off of every description among compliance with defined rules
Open tickets based on received phone calls
Monitor and track ticket system, Rockets system, phone and Requests
Enrich tickets with additional information if required /or needed
Dispatch Incidents and Requests to next level of support including call out
Inform IMS (Incident Management and Support Team) via phone about Critical Incidents
Inform Incident or Request Originator about updates and progress
Review ticket answers from underlying support levels
Answer Incidents and Requests back to originator
Liaising with other support groups in assisting with the resolution where initial investigation fails to resolve the incident.
