As a Sr. Marketing Officer II, I am responsible to head and overlook on the implementation and development of ET MICE product.
I make sure other new staff are well acquainted with the companies interests in terms of creating new market segments in the aviation industry.
Furthermore, I am expected to under take all the activities i was handling/doing as Sr Marketing Officer I with little involvement.
As a Sr. Marketing Officer, I was responsible to;
- Study market trends system wide and develop various programs and sales tools that will support the sales efforts of field offices (95+ area offices);
- Study the segmentation of market system wide and proposes new products to be sold in conjunction with air transportation;
- Handle the Conference (MICE) market of the company to help field offices generate revenue through this product;
- Overlook the preparation of the calendar of events and ensure relevant conference destinations on ET network are not missed;
- Provide guidance for coworkers on market selection and development of program and incentive schemes for sales partners in these markets;
- Propose policy inputs for the development of passenger marketing strategies to concerned office (Market Research);
- Develop new products based on the study results in connection with segmentation of markets and industry trends;
- Provide and coordinate the support required by sales offices system-wide for the proper implementation of new product in their markets and ensures the sales teams are equipped with the necessary sales tools;
- Handle the Conference (MICE) market of the company to help field offices generate revenue through this product;
- Adhere consistently to the airline safety and security policy and procedures through identification and mitigation of operational hazards and related security risks and implement all precautionary actions / measures / processes, etc;
As a Marketing Officer, I was responsible in ensuring the airline caters new products to make the company competitive in the stiff aviation market.
Among the products include Conference Sponsorship which i have worked on for the past 4 years.
I was responsible to negotiate with event organizing companies and conclude an agreement with win win situation for both parties.
i have an immense experience in negotiating and reaching at the intended stage for over 400 different events that took place in different part of the world. With my experience i have with more than 200 event organizers, i have great clue of planning, arranging and making an event happen in an excellent and satisfactory way.
