Managing Engineering Department in ABJ, responsible of preparation of Conceptual Designs, Stress Analysis and detailing of Process Skids, Pipe Rack Modules, Static Equipment and Steel Structure Buildings. My main responsibility is employing my experience to generate cost effective designs in full compliance with design codes, standards, and company and project specifications.
Leading a team of mechanical design engineers, structural design engineers and CAD operators for:
Preparation of Request for Quotation (RFQ), Material Requisition (MR), Scope or Work (SOW), Scope of Supply (SOS) and Supply Specification for static equipment, structure and skid packages.
Preparation of Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE), and Technical Clarifications to Vendors in line with Company / Licensor / Project Specification.
Preparation of Mechanical Data Sheets (MDS) and General Arrangement Drawings (GAD), Mechanical Calculation, Thermal Calculation and Detailed Fabrication Drawings for both onshore and offshore equipment and skids.
Preparation of Bill of Material (BOM) and Technical Delivery Condition (TDC) for material procurement.
Preparation of 3D piping model / layout preparation, isometrics, P&ID, Bill of Material (BOM), test packs and pre-commissioning documents Structural designs, and detailing.
3D Model Review and HAZOP Review with client / End User.
Review / Approve Vendor Documents and Prints.
Performing FEA static structure, buckling, dynamic and thermal analysis for skids, vessels, heat exchanger components by using Ansys.
FEA static structure analysis for fatigue, creep and Fitness for Service (FFS) in accordance with ASME BPVC Sec VIII Div. 2 and API 579/ASME FFS.
Leading a team of project and planning engineers for:
Reviewing contract documents and administrating all issues related to the project in conjunction with senior management in accordance with Company’s policies and procedures.
Identifying scope and any additional works and technical upgrades not covered in the contract to enhance the project deliverables, customer satisfaction and improve Company’s revenue.
Preparing and review the project execution plan, progress monitoring and reporting.
Implementing cost control programs, and commercial reporting.
Managing resources and expenses to achieve contract completion within budget and time frame.
Ensuring project cash flow and timely payments are received from the customer in accordance with contract conditions.
Manage subcontracts from preparing RFQ and price negotiation with various specialty subcontractors, till the completion of work.
Ensuring efficient collaboration and co-ordination between Client and relevant departments.
Representing the Company and enhance relationships in dealings with clients, consultants and regulatory authorities.
Implementing and enforce quality control and tracking programs to meet quality objectives.
Ensuring implementation and adherence of standard operating and health & safety procedures.
Managing pre-commissioning, FAT, SIT, hand over and project closure activities with the various departments and client.
Support Sr. Project Manager in managing the top side piping fabrication,
assign priorities of fabrication and NDT activities in order to meet project plan
and client target loud out dates.
Progress monitoring and control of man-hours to insure project completion
within budget.
Coordinate with client, attend weekly meetings for progress monitoring and
solve project challenges to achieve delivery dates.
Pre-commissioning activates for ERAH phase 2 project, for both Top Side
piping as well as the Subsea structures (FLET, PLET, SOM, SHO and ITA).
Preparing test packs, and pre-commissioning FAT procedure for Top Side
piping and subsea structures (FLET, PLET, SOM, SHO and ITA).
Pre-commissioning activates for OFON phase 2 project, for Top Side piping
and packages (Chemical Injection Package, Air Compressor
Package, ..etc.)
Plan FAT and SIT activates for Top side piping, subsea structures and
suction piles.
Perform FAT and SIT Top side piping and subsea structures.
Review / prepare risk assessments for all FAT and SIT activates.

Working on the mechanical design of low-pressure vessels, high pressure
vessels and heat exchangers according to ASME code "BPVC" Div.1 & 2
using a set of software such as Compress, PV Elite and AutoCAD.
Reviewing vessel design for these vessels which designed by others and
fabricated by Petrojet.
