Currently the Head of a team of 5 members who is responsible for Banha City Center project and
among my responsibilities are the following:
1) Implementing Design Drawings for Electrical Power and Low current Systems.
2) Setting project plan and its time schedule.
3) Distributing tasks among team members and Reviewing their products.
4) Liaising with other departments during Design and Coordination phases.
5) Attending meetings with Owners and Contractors.
1) Implementing Electrical Power systems Design such as:
- Lighting systems, Power systems.
- Preparing Panel schedules and calculating the Estimated Normal and Emergency loads.
- Selecting the Adequate Transforms, Generators or UPS ratings.
- Preparing Cable routing drawings.
- Voltage drop and Short Circuit calculations.
- Calculating capacitive load needed for Power factor correction.
2) Implementing L.C. systems Design such as:
- Fire alarm, Telephone & Data, CCTV, MATV, Access control, Intercom, sound system etc.
3) Preparing BOQ.
4) Preparing cost Estimation.
5) Liaising with Mechanical Engineering Department in phases of:
load estimation and coordination.
6) Reviewing Shop drawings and As built Drawings implemented by the contractor.
Projects:
▪ PYRAMID HILLS ( INFRASTRUCTURE )
The Project consists of 24 Zones of Residential buildings with total surface area of more than 125, 000
m2 and total load of more than 10 MVA fed by 10 Transformers which are interconnected between
each others by 4 loops and connected to the Utility through 14 MVA Distributor.
▪ Sokhna Bay extension
An extension to sokhna bay where Electrified RTGs and RMGs are to introduced for the first time in
Egypt. The whole project including RMGs, RTGs, Reefers and 7 administrative Buildings is to be feed
through medium voltage network composed of 3 main substations with total overall power of 40 MVA.
The Owner of the Project is DP World and among the consultants of the project are Jaccobs and
Ch2m.
▪ Al-HABTOUR VILLA
▪ HACIENDA WHITE (Set of cabins in North Coast)
Responsibilities:
- Implementing Electrical Systems Shop drawings.
Projects:
▪ CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION BUILDING (KUWAIT).
▪ VILLA TYPE-B (BERNIS MILITARY BASE).
Responsibilities:
1) Site supervision.
2) Implementing Design modifications.
3) Reviewing Shop drawings and As built Drawings implemented by the contractor.
4) Evaluating Submittals provided by the contractor.
5) Prepare reports as required.
6) Calculating and evaluating the progress bills.
