Duties and responsibilities
1. Handel the Development of schematic design full package including all technical fixation details.
2. Review and Designs Such as (Elevations, Focal Points, Bathrooms, wooden work, Architectural, Electrical, Sanitary, HVAC, ETC...)
3. Prepare Material Selection Table, specification, finishing, interior mode boards
4. Prepare Architecture Plans for MEP, Elect, Sanitary and furnishing and assist in Material Selection.
5. Prepare construction docs, workshop drawings, detailing, interior designs and finishing works.
6. Coordinate between designers, consultants, and contractors.
- Ensures effective project plans are created, maintained and kept up to date daily or weekly as appropriate to reflect status of project activities; this includes clearly articulating and tracking all activities timelines.
- Coordinates between engineering consultants, site supervision and contractors to ensure effective management of assigned internal and external resources toward the common goal of quality and timely deliverable of product services.
- Communicates changes to the project plan and timelines, along with project risks or issues, and provides solutions to ensure the project is progressing as per planned budget & completion dates.
- Monitors risks, issues as they arise and works closely with project teams management to offer solutions and technical support.
- Assists and coordinates with the design, project controls and engineering teams on technical issues.
- Maintains health & safety standards within the project.
- Ensures the project's compliance with the applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications.
- Coordinate the architectural designs, drawings and specifications for new and revised structures and interior spaces.
- Review designs, engineering plans, specifications and contract documents to ensure compliance with government codes, laws and regulations.
- Perform and check quantity surveying works and materials take-off to insure the accuracy of quantities in the Bill of Quantity (BOQ).
- Issuing customers and subcontractors invoices.
- Advises Subcontractors on the interpretation of plans, recommends changes when necessary.
- Reviews preliminary designs, working drawings, specifications and cost estimates related to the project.
- Reviews Subcontractor's shop drawings to ensure compliance with specifications and contract agreements by checking them for technical accuracy according to the project accepted guidelines.
- Reviews product, analyzes materials and determines appropriateness for application to projects.
- Performing As-Built Drawings and Planning.
- Performing Quantities and descriptions sheets for the performed designs.
- Preparing purchases orders for projects.
Architecture Project Review:
Review the objectives, requirements and budget of projects to propose design and time limits for the implementation.
Provide various pre-design services which may include conducting feasibility studies, tender application and presentations, cost estimation, preliminary designs, concepts and drawings.
Review architecture designs provided by consultants to ensure adherence with company’s policies and procedures and building codes.
Project Implementation:
Interact with consultants and contractors and ensure effective communication and coordination on assigned projects between all parties.
Coordinate the implementation of projects by contractors to ensure that work is aligned with contractual agreement, design and specifications.
Reporting:
Provide periodic reports of work progress and recommend solutions to problems andissues that arise during construction.
Woked as a Project Manager for the company sites belonging to the Egyptian Army. We were responsible for implementing 6 buildings.
Site Engineer
Served as a Reserved Officer at a Construction Project in the Egyptian Army.
