1- Works with Thuraya Senior Managers, Client and Enterprise Applications Owners to identify, plan and define Applications strategic goals and objectives. creates budgets, resource plans and implementation plans; directs the effort to acquire, retain and manage those financial, technical and staff resources.

2-Provide oversight and approval as needed, with negotiation and approval of statement of work for new contracts with clients, vendors and contractors and for renewing contracts with existing clients, vendors and for upgrades or modifications to existing client application and vendor-provided products and services.

3.Works closely with business stakeholders at all levels to identify their needs and prepares business requirements specifications and obtains management approvals for full understanding of business needs.

4.Translates business needs into detailed requirements and shapes solutions in alignment with corporate IT strategy, manages user testing cycle and organises user training to ensure solution meets requirements and results in business satisfaction with delivered solution and communicates the status to business owners and all stakeholders.

5.Creates and builds short and long term relationship channels with internal customers and external customers (Business Units & Vendors).

6.Follow the IT Demand Management Methodology and IT Project Management

7.Provides pro-active consulting in Technology and Operations Business Process design and reengineering, gathers information on competitor technology and selection parameters and stays abreast of industry trends in the business and technology.

8.Facilitates Information Management and Decision Support and assist with implementation of data governance policies, processes and procedures

9.Communicates regularly back to business managers on the status of projects and business requests.

10.Identifies and leverages IT synergy potential across business units

11.Participates in the IT annual budgeting & planning process for the assigned business units and provides an update on IT spend to date.

12.Drives Service Level Agreement (SLA) negotiations with business units

13.Involvement in the implementation of the ITIL v3 framework across the IT department.

14.Manage IT Service Desk Daily Operations and work with other IT Departments to provide the end users with quality of service, high resources availability, response time ...etc
