​Milling & Separation Efficiency: Monitor the performance of degerminating mills and hydrocyclone separation networks to optimize Germ Separation Efficiency, maintaining precise mill clearance adjustments to eliminate germ breakage and prevent downstream oil contamination.





​Dewatering & Flash Drying: Track and optimize unit operations in the Industrial Starch plant, focusing on vacuum drum filter cake moisture and Flash Dryer thermal parameters to achieve final moisture content specs (< 14%) without starch gelatinization.

• Gained hands-on experience in a 400 KTA HDPE plant (Hostalen slurry
process), analyzing and troubleshooting key unit operations like
polymerization, separation, and drying.

• Process Analysis: Analyzed vacuum pressure setpoints in the Hexane Recovery Unit to identify
potential opportunities for energy optimization during peak load operations.
• Unit Operation Monitoring: Conducted performance monitoring on Decanter Centrifuges (CE
4601B), focusing on weir plate settings and pond depth adjustments to ensure optimal solids
separation.
• Troubleshooting: Successfully diagnosed a clogged hopper vent that was causing product color
deviation, assisting the team in restoring additive dosing stability.
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Participated in the review of a major dryer pluggage incident,
studying the impact of crosslinked polymer chunks and the critical role of interlock sequences
between feeders and blowers.
• Quality Control & Safety: Monitored reactor temperature profiles and wax solubility limits to
prevent deposition issues in downstream equipment, supporting adherence to Process Safety
Management (PSM) standards.
