1- Tracking vessel ETA and advance planning for the smooth berthing with port control.
2- Following up the safe arrival of original shipping documents upon or before vessel arrival.
3- Double checking with port stevedore the availability of necessary equipment and manpower to achieve the discharging target with no delay or demurrage.
4- Guarantee the immediate berthing for the ship upon arrival by tracking with port control and shipping agent.
5- Participations while vessel alongside to ensure the submitting of OBL to ship master and customs discharging clearance prior to the commencement of operation.
6- Ensure that the daily discharging tonnage is complying with fixed charter party terms and conditions.
7- Reviewing stevedore remarks against any stoppage or delay due to vessel gears brake down of power failure and make sure the same is registered in the statement of facts.
8- Following up with customs broker to receive delivery clearance for both direct and storage delivery.
9- Ensure the safe arrival of trucks immediately upon costumes clearance and start loading operation to the plant storage yards.
10- Following daily delivered quantities and submitting the required reports.
11- Reviewing all master notes and do the needful towards and short or damage materials.
12- Attend the completion of discharging operation with draft surveyor and make sure that vessel departed from the berth with no cargo remains on board.
13- Prepared the lay time calculation and following up the demurrage or dispatch with shipping owner if any.
1- Planning for the supply and demand of the required raw materials with coordination of procurements and production based on production plan.
2- Monitor the daily raw materials stock and review daily reports.
3- Follow up with suppliers the dispatched materials and preparing storage area and warehouse.
4- Tracking the transporters and logistic companies for smooth supply chain of raw materials.
5- Arranging the required manning and equipment for receiving the goods.
6- Supervising the offloading of raw materials (breakbulk, containers and Jumbo bags) and ensure the smooth storage at the designated area.
7- Reviewing the damage/short reports with material handling team and reporting to suppliers or insurance company as per the sales agreement.
8- Confirming the actual received quantities between the weighbridge and end user.
9- Recovering and processing the oversize and byproducts whenever required.
10- Removal and disposal of wastes and impurities.
11- By-products handling and processing (EAF slag, LF slag, mill scale, baghouse dust, sludge
and/or burned electrodes).
12- Handling the hazardous materials and waste lubricants as per HSE procedures.
13- Housekeeping and preparing 5 - S reports as required.
14- Stock taking and periodic inventory with the designated committee.
15- Following min-max stock at SAP system to monitor the daily buffer stock.
16- Preparing the monthly and annual reports and submit to the various departments.
17- Audit sub-contractor procedures, work instruction, risk assessment and TUV.
18- Participation in daily production meeting, weekly supply and demand meeting and monthly HSE meeting.
19- Introducing tool box and safety talks to all my team regarding the material safety data sheet (MSDS) and participate the internal/external audit.
Skills & Abilities: 1- Aspiration for excellence. 2- Ability to take the feedback and open to all suggestions. 3- Highly positive in attitude and always take initiative to take extra responsibilities.. 4- Excellent supervision power. 5- Fluent English speaking and reading, Arabic language in a plus. 6- Good knowledge of computer different systems.( S.A.P & ORCLE) 7- Holding of a valid Saudi driving license. 8- Good knowledge of government rules and regulations relating to goods import and export. 9- Good communications with shipping agencies, customs brokers, transporters port stevedore and customs,officers. 10- An expert in customer care communications, problem solving, relationship building.
