* Reviews contractual documentation.
* Preparation for inspection and testing by Interpretation and compilation of all engineering documents including datasheets, P & IDs and Loop Drawings.
* Inspection of Instrumentation installation, Instrument system, cabling and punch listing prior to acceptance from construction.
* Witnesses testing of all types of Field instrumentation including Temperature, Flow, Level and Pressure Transmitters.
* Witnesses on testing of all types of Fire and Gas detectors and panels including setting up of open path flammable gas detectors.
* Assist in preparation of handover documentation, dossiers, redline mark ups etc.
* Ensure that the instrument and control content of the dossiers is accurate and complete before they are accepted from construction and before they are submitted to operations department.

I worked as rotation for 3 months as
Maintenance Planner, I learned a lot of things, and here are some of the basics that I worked on :
1- Review regularly all backlogged work order, updates the status, and coordinates with area supervisor to minimize the backlogged list.
2- Coordinate with operation department to ensure the isolation of the equipment planned for mechanical maintenance. Coordinate with material coordinator to ensure spares availability for mechanical maintenance plan execution. Coordinate with operation and maintenance the weekly schedule to ensure the smooth execution of work plan.
3- Consults with Maintenance, Operation & Eng. to ensure appropriateness of his plans
4-Maintains proper status for each work order through regular review until ready for scheduling
5-Schedule all preventive mechanical maintenance work orders and corrective maintenance work orders on the SAP maintenance system to assist mechanical maintenance team complete the work orders as per the maintenance plan and avoid any time conflict.
As a Instrumentation Technician :
I've worked on a lot of thing, and here are some of the basics that I worked on :
1- Certified technician to receive Hot and Cold work permit to perform maintenance job.
2- Witnesses on testing of all types of Fire and Gas detectors and panels including setting up of open path flammable gas detectors as Saudi Aramco Standard.
3- Certified technician to maintain different instruments and critical equipment.
4- Follow the maintenance procedures to perform PM (Preventive Maintenance), MMT
(Minor Maintenance Ticket) and to make sure that the field instruments are in good condition with the standard procedures documented in the maintenance manual. After completing any job, we record the details of the job completed in the instrument log book for future reference.
5- I have passed and completed some of Saudi Aramco's OJT Task
I worked in the maintenance department at Madinah Bulk Plant and Madinh SSSP-7.

There is a lot of work that we worked on, but what is important in my work is to work and assist with all maintenance departments. Even in some work, we are required to provide assistance to the operation department, because every employee in any company is required to provide every skill and assistance he has to everyone, provided that the regulations are followed.
