Quality Engineer Mission:
Support the Quality Manager for all activities relevant to Quality Assurance Department for all Organization.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Process Quality Reporting
Collect, verify and analyze data. Compute indexes and issue reports on monthly basis.
2. Manage the Corrective and Preventive Action system
Register documents, organize and animate meetings, remind concerned actors, monitor actual closing and time, verify application and efficiency .
3. Assist the concerned Department for the Quality Documentation System
Creation and updating of all procedures, processes, Job description, Work Instructions and Forms.
4. Manage the internal audit program. Conduct personally some of the planned Internal audit. Follow up corrective actions.
5. Communicate defective analysis and results to concerned team leaders or section managers in order to generate corrective actions.
6. Provide Quality Engineering support to Projects.
7. Assist in Supplier evaluation and selection process.
8. Assist in handling and follow up of customer complaints.
9. Assist in quality awareness training as required.

Project Description:
Optimise the testing time for Protection relays without compromising on the Product Quality.
The Result and Potential Impact:
- Customer satisfaction - submitting the product to the customer Inspection with a shorter time.
- Quality Control lead time improvement.
- Reduce manufacturing cost.
Project Goals:
- Optimize the time allocated for the Quality Control to make the Panel ready for Customer Inspection.
- Optimize the testing process to reduce it from 2.1hr /unit to 1hr/unit
- Eliminate non-adding value activities.

The main module taken are the following: Principles of Logistics and Supply Chain Management Logistics Technology Research Methods Professional Skills Supply Chain Planning and Control Global Logistics Operations Management Project Management Then the dissertation research was conducted with the title: "Optimizing the Total Delivery Cost in Global Supply Chains by Studying the Relationship between Commodity Prices and Freight Rates" in the research the risk management of global supply chain was studied.
