Reporting to the board of directors, my role is to lead and maintain a sound Internal Audit function providing assurance on the organization’s governance, risk management, and control processes to help the organization achieve its strategic, operational, financial and compliance objectives.
In addition to my role as a consultant advising and recommending management for improvement in Internal controls and Risk Management systems and framework.
- Derived the IT based projects to assure its capability to meet current and evolving business requirements
- Established a close working relationship between technical and non-technical executives/ departments to establish consensus and overall endorsement of IT initiatives
Participated in the programming and management of the fund’s Loans Management Information System (LOMIS), and the tracking system for the performance of the cement industry.
Worked in the natural gas liquids (NGL) plant at Abqaiq and also contributed to PDP programs.
