• Review the procurement strategy proposed by contractors
• Monitor the planning and implementation of the inspection plan
• Review the proposed selection of vendors in compliance with the Approved vendor list, and review the proposed additions to the approved vendor list
• Monitor the planning and implementation of the expediting plan
• Review vendor quality plans, and advice if nonconformance is detected
• Review field purchasing
• Verify procurement records, and reports are maintained in good order
• Monitor the placement of purchase orders in accordance with the schedule requirement, including equipment deliveries
• Remain informed of EPC Technical Bid Evaluation and Award Packages
• Planning, organizing, coordinating, controlling, and directing the daily activities.
• Implement procedure control and supervision installation of PE Pipes and fittings.
• Identify, select suitable jointing tools & machine equipment
• Work safely in accordance with Saudi Aramco Engineering standards & procedures
• Maintain the quality level of each joint by identifying faults, defect
• Improve the current process of thermal diffusion galvanizing operation.
• Create flow chart displaying the current process, and create new flow chart that shows the improvement of the process with eliminating the non-added value.
• Apply the knowledge of queuing theory to optimize accuracy and efficiency of movements and position
• Reduce the waiting time for the furnace, cylinder utilization, and work station design.
• Create a preventive maintenance for the Wheelabrator machine, and implement any lean manufacturing and 5S improvements.
