The Projects I involved in were in the Banking Department:

Investment Product
This is a product aims to cover the need by the investment banks or companies for a solution to automate the different instruments available in Investment Department

My responsibilities
- Managing and leading 3 designer and 14 developers from technical and business point of view.
- Preparing and delivering different SDLC (Software development life cycle) incorporating with the Project Manager
- Meeting with business users and marketing department to understand fully the business requirements
- Translating business requirements into system requirements and system integrations and different UML Artifacts.
- Participate with the Testing team to ensure that testing plans and testing cases covers business requirements testing and final User acceptance plan.
- Participating with the development team (designers and developer) to find out solutions for the different business cases.
- Participating with the technical writers while the creating of user guide manuals.
- Provides training and coaching for the implementation team to make sure that they fully understand the solution provided


IBS Product
The Islamic Banking Solution: IBS provides a state of Art solution for Islamic Banking, that covers most of the Islamic banking Process (Ijara, Murabahaa, and Tawaraak, etc..)

My Role:
Designing business and technical solution of the following instruments:
- Murabaha Deposit (Certificate Deposit).
- Cash Line (Credit Card).
- Collaterals Management
- Policy Parameters
- Ijara Termination

Integrated Billing System (IBS)
Project Overview: The Integrated Billing System (IBS) is a service cost
allocation system. The application takes in telecommunication data
from various sources for numerous services. The information is
assigned to the responsible billing financial entity and the appropriate
charges are applied. The charges are consolidated by billing financial
entity and used to create general ledger entries, a formatted
communication statement, and file extracts. The information is
distributed to the telecommunication customers.
My role in the project was to
Participate in the product production support team.
Develop and implement production fixes such as enhancing the online
application security and stability which is used to access the Billing
Data on the Unix Server from Windows Machine.
Responsible for the CC/FE subsystem and the Online SME “Subject
matter Expert”.
Perform peer review on all phases of every change request related to
Online SME.
Technology used: XI-Batch, C under Unix, Sybase for the database
management system, Unix SUN Solaris, Korn shell scripting, Visual
C++ for windows development.

Project Overview: A tool used to generate database structure in order
to assist database administrators maintaining the company solutions.
My role in the project was to
Design and develop the entire project enabling access to the Database
vendor, and generating reports to be used by the Database
administrators.
Technology used: Visual C++ and MFC.
Time Frame: 1 month

Internal Tool for Developers
Project Overview: A tool used by the company's developers to
generate code based on designed screens using Visual Studio resource
editor which has been used in most of our projects.
My role in the project was to
Design and develop the component which reads and parses the
resource file “.RC”, extracts dialogs and controls within them.
Design and develop Control component which maps each control to a
specific field in the database and generates “.Cpp” and “.H” files which
represent MFC based classes for each screen.
Technology used: Visual C++ and MFC.
Time Frame: 3 months
