❖ Ships, barges, boats, workshops, heavy equipment and site activities safety inspections.
❖ Enforcing the implementation of working over water and safe diving procedures.
❖ Implementing the permit to work procedure including the lock-out/ tag-out system, hot works, cold
works, confined spaces and lifting activities.
❖ Carrying out accidents/ incidents investigations.
❖ Implementing the site traffic management/ control plan.
❖ Carrying out hazard identification and implementation of control measures for site activities.
❖ Conducting the HSE training, toolbox talks and new employees’ orientation/ induction sessions.

❖ Developing and implementing the site HSE management system including specific HSE plan,
procedures and forms.
❖ Reviewing the method statements, developing and implementing the hazard identifications and
control measures of all site activities.
❖ Developing and implementing the site emergency response preparedness procedure including
evacuation, firefighting, first aid and environmental.
❖ Successfully managed to safely complete the assembling and erecting of steel structure of 600
meters for conveyors, plus two tunnels, primary, secondary & stock crushers.
❖ Developing and implementing the explosion/ blasting procedure for both vertical / horizontal
blasting works.
❖ Ships, barges and boats safety inspections.
❖ Managing the HSE training plan, toolbox talks, orientation/ induction, HSE inspections (site
activities, power tools, heavy equipment, workshops.
❖ Involved in the developing and implementation of the site traffic management/ control plan.
❖ Managing the subcontractors’ activities in relation to implementation of the HSE rules and
regulations.
❖ Conducting on regular basis (weekly/ monthly) the HSE meetings with the Client representative,
site management and subcontractors’ representatives.
❖ Developing and implementing the permit to work procedure including the lock-out/ tag-out system,
hot works, cold works, confined spaces and lifting activities.
❖ Carrying out accidents/ incidents investigations, reporting them and highlight the lessons learnt to
be used in the monthly HSE bulletins and to increase the employees’ awareness.

❖ Supervising the safety & security crew that includes 03 safety officers, 16 safety helpers, 02
carpenters, 01 welder, 01 electrician, 06 security guards for the 03 Sabban Towers A, C, D.
❖ Developing and implementing the site HSE management system including specific HSE plan,
procedures and forms.
❖ Reviewing the method statements, developing and implementing the hazard identifications and
control measures of all site activities.
❖ Developing and implementing the site emergency response preparedness procedure including
evacuation, firefighting, first aid and environmental.
❖ Managing all safety on site including scaffolding, work at heights, firefighting, hot works, concrete
works, tower cranes, heavy equipment, etc.
❖ Managing the security activities including the gate passes (individuals and vehicles), robbery, drug
and alcohol abuse, visitors, etc.

❖ Carrying out the HSE inspections and implementation of the control measures on the Marine,
reclamation, excavation, earthworks, blasting, dredging, workshop, vessels works.
❖ Implementing the site HSE Policy, plans and procedures.
❖ Implementing the permit to work procedure including the lock-out/ tag-out system, hot works, cold
works, confined spaces and lifting activities.
❖ implementing the site traffic management/ control plan.
❖ Supervising the security activities for the Pearl of Qatar Project that includes the daily entrance and
exit of more than 15000 employees, visitors and suppliers’ heavy equipment such as trailers and
trucks.
❖ Attending the weekly management safety meetings.
❖ Conducting the weekly toolbox talks / safety orientations and inhouse training sessions.
❖ Managing the selection and provision of the personal protective equipment.
❖ Carrying out accidents/ incidents investigations, reporting them and highlight the lessons learnt to
be used in the monthly HSE bulletins and to increase the employees’ awareness.
❖ Make all safety records (accident / incident reports, monthly reports, man-hours worked & lost time
accidents, charts, statistics, memos, NCR, safety meetings, and daily safety staff reports…etc).
❖ Maintain & keep safety files (clinic, lost time accidents, incidents, cranes & riggers, NCR, P.P.E.,
purchase orders, crane regular inspections & certificates, hoists regular inspections & certificates,
chain checklist, Minister of Labor, & safety staff training courses….etc
