Working as a procurement engineer for Fire
protection and industrial draining system, North
Riyadh Bulk Plant Armco project
> Coordinating with the project team to
prepare MR and follow up in order to get
ARAMCO approval.
> Prepared and issued RFQ package and
obtaining supplier offers in accordance with
standard procedure.
> Coordinated between vendors and the
concerned Engineering department for
technical evaluation.
> Liaised with vendor to ensure compliance with product specification and delivery time.
> Evaluated, managed, and re-negotiated
commercial terms.
> Conducted price and cost analysis of the
offers and prepared formal award recommendations to project management for
approval.
> Prepared orders, contracts, and project reports.
> Coordinate with vendor in order to get
NMR601, NMR602, NMR603, SPP package in
order to submit to ARAMCO.
> Expediting of the equipment delivery with the
vendor to meet our project requirement using
appropriate expediting methods.
> Ensured timely payments to vendors as per
the milestone.
> Maintained current market knowledge on
product availability and knowledge of
alternative sources in order to reduce cost.
> Create, review, and evaluate the performance
of vendors against set KPIs to ensure the
company is receiving the expected
performance as well as to highlight strengths,
and weaknesses and suggest improvements,
where necessary
>Support the Construction Manager,
Estimation team, and Project management team
to ensure construction cost targets are met,
interfacing with project organization,
subcontractors,
and construction suppliers
Coordinate with the warehouse team for the
completion of the documentation process
related to purchase orders and cross-checking
the stock availability in order to meet our
project requirement
Used to arrange local and international
logistics (Sea and air freight forwarder) for
import/export of the materials as per the project
requirement
Projects:
• Radisson Blu Collection: Trunkey project for a 5 Stars hotel consists of 34 floors, with a total Value of 240M SAR.
• Somerset Serviced Apartment: Turnkey project for a 4 Stars hotel consists of 20 floors, with a total Value of 150M SAR.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Ensures that all the works done are in accordance with the approved construction drawings, contract documents, and project specifications.
• Analyses all possible construction methodologies and recommends the best options to the Project Manager for approval prior to execution at the site
• Planning the execution of all Mechanical related works (Plumping, HVAC, Fire Fighting) coordinating with the electrical and civil departments.
• Responsibility for inspections of mechanical implementation work and on-site testing in accordance with project specifications, approved work sequence, inspection test plan, method statement, latest approved shop drawing, and field technology issue.
• Responsible for Mechanical work Testing (Plumbing, HVAC, and Fire-Fighting systems)
• Prepare daily and monthly progress report
- Maintenance Department.
▪ Worked on preventive and predictive maintenance on pumps and associated components.
▪ Following up some pumping stations mechanical component such as pumps and compressors.
▪ Worked on pump control system which is supervisory Control and data acquisition program (SCADA).
▪ Responsible for communication with companies to provide Spare parts for pumps.
1- Senior Design Project (Ring expansion testing & fatigue analysis of steels). ( Jan 2019 – Dec 2019 ) Project description : - A two-way ring expansion method was developed to determine the mechanical properties specifically the ultimate hoop stress (UTS) of a ring. - FEA software ABAQUS was used to analyze the test and check its validity and limitations. - The Parts of the expansion test were manufactured to conduct the experiments. - Implementing a study on fatigue behavior of steel shafts undergoing cyclic loading with different load arrangements. - FEA software ABAQUS and module FE-safe were used to compare the analytical solutions with the numerical one. 2- Design a color sorting mechanism. ( Nov 2019 – Dec 2019 ) Project description: - our design consists of two servo motors, a color sensor, and a wood frame with a special design to fulfill the color sorting mechanism. - We used the ARDUINO program to write the code by using c++ language which satisfies the sorting mechanism and managing the required delay for each angle of rotation of the servo motor. 3- Design a 3-Degree OF freedom robotic arm has attached a horizontal platform. (Mar 2019 – Apr 2019) Project description: - The purpose of this project is to control a 3 DOF robotic arm that can move an object from one place to another one and the wood platform stays stable in a horizontal plane. - Our design consists of an MPU-6050 sensor, 4 servo motor, an Arduino board, a Bluetooth module, and a Wood platform. we used the ARDUINO program to write the code by using c++ language, MPU-6050 sensor, Bluetooth module, and LITTLE A RM APPLICATION to control our robot. 4- Design of a solar heating system using a flat plate collector. (Mar 2019 – Apr 2019) Project description: - The best location and orientation of the flat plate collectors were found based on the sun’s location relative to a specified longitude and latitude. - Finding the slope and intercept of the collector based on given specifications. - Determining the number of collectors that cover a specified portion of the required load. 5- Design of a quick return four-bar slider-crank mechanism. ( Feb 2018 – Apr 2018 ) Project description: - Advanced excel functions and operations were used to complete this project. - This project includes the study of the effect of linkage sizes on the torque fluctuation.
