Head of Project Management Capability Development at BAE Systems

• In charge of the Development of the Project Management (PM) skills and capabilities in the KSA Business Unit, and the designing and the implementation of the capability development strategy in alignment with the BAE Systems PM corporate strategy.
• Leading a team of PM experts in charge of PM Capability Development in the following areas (Lifecycle Management, Integrated Planning and Scheduling, Risk Management, Project Reporting and Project Control Systems).
• Developing and deploying the required PM capabilities essential to enables the delivery and execution of the organization strategy, focusing on the core PM capabilities (Integrated Planning & Scheduling, Risk Management, Project execution, Project Control and Performance Reviews).
• Ensuring all the pillars of the PM capabilities (People, Policies, Process and Toolset) are mature enough and fit for purpose and the PM practices are aligned with the Corporate and the Industry Best Practices.
• Support and advice the business unit Project Management Authority position on establishing, developing and the growing of the PM Community technical capabilities.
• Manage on behalf of the Business Unit CEO office, the financial and non-financial Business Risk Register (BRR), including analyzing the Company risk exposure and the performance of the mitigation actions and opportunity realization Plans, in addition to leading the monthly BRR review process, and report the business unit quarterly risk position to the Management Board on behalf of the Project Management Authority.
• Leading the PM capabilities development Working Groups (WGs) including (Project Reporting System (PRS) WG, MS Project 2010 and Predict! 4.3 WG, Project Control System Development WG)
• Apply the CMMI maturity assessment on the PM capability of the organizational and carry compliance assessments on projects to ensure proper Governance and the adherence to the company and Project Management Lifecycle mandates.
• Use the PM Maturity Assessments results to identify capability gaps and areas for improvement also to confirm Return on Investment post to strategic capability initiatives.
• Represent PM Function as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the applicable UK Corporate PM Council and on several other Project Management Working Groups.
• Working as PM SME to deploy specialized project performance and compliance assessment including IBR (Internal Baseline Reviews), Schedule Health Checks, Risk Assessments, Risk Schedule Assessments and Earned Value Management (EVM) system implementation Readiness and performance assessments.

Customer Support Manager –Saudisation & Training at BAE Systems

Project Manager CMS-Training at BAE Systems

• Worked as the Project Manager for all the Technical Training initiatives delivered to the company CMS employees (over 3000) managing project teams both in KSA and in the UK.
• The position involved the management of two major subcontractors and the delivery of many strategical training projects.
• Nominated to three Chairman Awards in 2011, two of these nominations are related to the achievement & high performance of my team in 2010 and for the design and implementation of a new training management system.

- Worked on six months Process Reengineering project delivered by Earnest & Young Consulting for the Ministry of Water & Electricity in Saudi Arabia (I was involved in the project As-As stage to mapping current process and the To-Be stage which included process reengineering deviation from best practice and the initial recommendation).
- Worked as a the Senior Project Coordinator in Program Management Office (PMO), which was an office to Integrate & Manage (scope, Time, Cost, and Risk) for all MoWE twelve (12) restructuring & privatization projects needed to prepare for the establishment of the National Water Company (NWC). This office was established and supervised by Booz Allen Hamilton international Consultancy company and included the implementing of a project management methodology, processes, tools, templates and implemented (Primavera®) the leading software in project management.
- - Worked as a Project Manager for 18 months Water & Wastewater full audit project covering four main cities in the kingdom, with seven team members from Singapore Utilities International.
- Managed & Delivered successfully 9 months feasibility study for establishing SR +100 Million regional Water & Wastewater training center the project was with (IOW- International office of water - France) the European leading consultant & training provider in the Water sector
- Worked as a Team Member in a (14 weeks) Value Engineering study on 2 of the Ministry major infrastructure projects, supervised by an international expert in this field.
- Acted as the Training Manager for the restructuring & privatization activities.
