Job Duties
- Setup, implement & maintain cost control tools as per project procedures, work instructions or approved project execution plan.
- Providing and interpreting the financial operating results and analysis of changes to CEO, CFO, Group Board & Shareholders.
- Analyze our current financial status and accordingly set reasonable financial goals.
- Managing the working capital to ensure financial efficiency & maintaining sufficient cash flow to meet its short-term operating costs and short-term debt obligations.
- Supervising the GL, AP & AR team to ensure internal controls & Processes are running smoothly in accordance with the company policy & procedures
- Managing the company financial accounting, monitoring & reporting system.
- Monitoring inventory levels to ensure that the working capital allocated efficiently.
- Responsible for preparing & timely closing of monthly/quarterly/ yearly financial statements, project-wise profit & loss account & annual budgeting.
- Under the direction of the CFO, assuring that all areas are adhering to set standards in the performance of their duties.
- Verified the expense reimbursement with supporting documents, Ensured that they’re in accordance with policies & procedures.
- Manage an accounting team of 4 with a strong emphasis on teamwork & accountability.
- Responsible for conducting financial analysis in such areas as forecasting, budgeting, engaging in cost reduction analysis & reviewing operational performance.
- Work closely with CEO's & managers to assure budget adherence while assessing all resources available for company goals.
- Review projects costing sheets for work-in-process, finished goods, new products & month-end inventory reconciliation.
- Coordinated all accounting activities to ensure the smooth running of the business activities for the entire group.
- Monitor and record expended manhours and apply contract rates to establish project costs..
- Analyzing & controlling the actual cost of various cost heads of budgeted cost.
- Experience in creating chart of accounts as required by the company’s needs.
- Maintaining General Ledgers & Subsidiaries Accounting.
- Managing the Annual inventory count.
- Monitoring the group's financial operations to achieve its strategic objectives.
- Responsible for collating and maintain project cost data including comparing and analyzing variances and trends.
- Sustainability to submit reports to senior management in a timely and accurate manner to take the necessary decisions.
- Monitor POS reports, minimize indirect & unnecessary costs.
- Matching a daily collected report with a sales points cash report.
- Reviewing the estimated costs of new projects and ensuring that they comply with the profitability criteria and the overhead percentage established by the board & matching the actual costs later with them, knowing the percentage, causes of deviation & ways to address them in coordination with operations
- Follow-up the company’s legal cases, provide the necessary support to legal department & the law firm with documents, financial reports, preparing financial responses & participating in the preparation of memoranda for filing new legal cases.
- Assessing group’s financial situation, risk tolerance, investment goals
- Recommending and implementing investment strategies that align with group’s goals
- Communicating regularly with group’s board to keep them informed of their investment progress
- Staying current on market trends, regulations, and other relevant information related to wealth management and property investment.
- Implement and maintain the approved Cost Breakdown Structures
- Support the administration of the project's change control process
- Compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
- Contributing to cost control processes improvements, ensuring they fit for purposepurpose
