• Lead and manage a team of software developers and web designers, supporting them in building and maintaining industry standard, robust and innovative software solutions.
• Responsible for the development and management of BAS software systems, applications and all related components.
• Working closely with all departments/stakeholders to understand requirements, and prioritizing those requirements to deliver effective solutions
• Develop the current ICT policies and procedures following industry standards (COBIT5, ITIL, ISO27001)
• Lead the ICT audit committee to ensure that the company comply with security standards.
• Establish a mission, vision and strategy for the team to meet the company’s goals and objectives, and to improve the quality of the service it delivers internally and externally.
• Analyze and design system requirements for new systems in the company
• Manage, control and direct all aspects of project planning, management and execution, in compliance with the IS Project Control Framework. Projects include enterprise Win7 upgrade and desktop virtualization.
• Direct and monitor operations and use of information systems within the CRM area.
• Analyze problems and define procedures for problem resolution and recovery
• Manage and control ongoing evaluation of departmental tools and procedures. Recommend changes as appropriate.
• Ensure that subordinates are adequately trained, developed and motivated, to meet the requirement of changing Information System technologies.
• Ensure that the analysis, specifications, development, testing, deployment of information system applications are in accordance to specified customer requirements.
• Manage a team of developers working on ad-hoc projects requested by external clients (mobile applications, web portals and online systems)
• Worked on and maintained several technologies including Java, XML, eclipse, UNIX.
• Helped in the localization of several projects from Japanese to English.
• Manage the whole IT department, which include IT structure, support and development.
• Manage the IT issues of the total of 5 subsidiaries under the holding company.
• Manage the network of the companies that include ranges of servers like Windows 2000, 2003 and 2008.
• Contact and coordinate with vendors and suppliers for all the IT equipments and issues around the company.
• Study and recommend new software and solutions to be implemented in the company, plus be the designated person for support of that system (HR, finance, etc…)
• Managed several projects in different areas of the Bank. These include MIS reporting and time attendance system.
• Was part of few teams that worked in the new core system for the bank including the data cleaning and migration team, testing team and new updates installing team.
• Created few systems using SQL, VB, Oracle and BO. Systems include Time attendance for HR, MIS Reports and others. I was involved in the requirement gathering stages, system design, testing, implementation and maintenance after deployment.
• Was part of the Internet banking solution to research and evaluate a new system for the banks online functions.
• Developed various customized reports for bank users using BO, MS Access and VB.
