By reporting to HSSE manager the job purpose is to support the group crisis management
and risk management practice to ensure that Dana gas Egypt and JV companies are assessing
the security threats and risks to people, assets, operating infrastructure and reputation in a
proper way to get them in a position to respond proactively.

 Identify and evaluate potential threats, risks, and emerging issues (violence, crime,
military/civil/political unrest or instability, terrorist activity, protest actions, disease,
medical service conditions, etc.) to area/region security and safety conditions in order to
advise and support employee and business travel and operational decisions.

 Develop and help implement travel and asset security strategies that allow the Company
to maintain essential operations and achieve its business goals.

 Develop and maintain general security policies and practices that effect physical security,
access security, document security, information security, and workplace security.

 Conduct site security assessments for all company locations such as offices, bases,
workshops, remote location, housing compounds, hotels.

 Conduct manpower reviews and manage man guarding personnel and contracts for
physical protection of the Company`s facilities.

 Establish an appropriate liaison with peer-position mangers in local companies that
operate in the oil and gas industry, as well as with local, state, and national security
agencies that are involved with security and business continuity matters that relate to the
Company’s essential operations.

 Conduct security investigations, produce investigation reports in order to inform the
business of incident details and assist in the identification of appropriate solutions to
identified problems.

 Manage outsourced 3rd party agencies in order to provide information that enables the
delivery of security proactively.

 Manage the allocated security budget effectively and efficiently in accordance with
policies and procedures.

 Create, review and maintain business journey management procedures and practices.

 Develop, implement, and maintain a crisis management policy and incident response
plans.

 Conduct crisis management training as required to ensure all appropriate personnel are
familiar with the policy and can react appropriately in a real-world crisis.

 Manage the set up and maintenance of crisis management facilities and communications.

 Work with HSE, Facilities, and the business units to develop emergency preparedness
plans to support business continuity planning.
