1. Review of all contract related technical documents and co-ordinate with client /contractor in resolving technical issues.
2. Review and update scope of work documents produced by respective functional departments, client etc. to develop execution methodology and its impact on project cost and schedule.
3. Ensure all procedure, drawings and calculations are submitted to the client /contractor for review and approval and follow up on return of such documents.
4. Prepare and implement PEP, review the project plan along with a project planner and assist in preparation of Tender package of any works.
5. Coordinate and ensure that engineering and associated drafting work is carried out by the respective operative personnel, in accordance with the specifications & schedule using action list method.
6. Follow Up Material Procurement.
7. Coordinate with the project procurement coordinator to ensure that materials are delivered as per schedule, tracking custom duties and shipping documents
8. Responsible for the overall day-to-day management of turnkey projects and ensure that project objectives are achieved within established time, cost and quality constraints to help management achieve its operational & financial objectives.
9. Identify, evaluate and present cost-benefit analysis for all ongoing projects to the management for them to get a better understanding of the financial aspects of the project.
10. Negotiate with vendors for quotations (sometimes if needed).
11. Maintain a database for all activities required by top management
12. Prepare Sketches for the modification works as per shop requirements.
13. Attend inspections/expediting visits for all materials during the execution of ongoing projects.
14. Coordinate with various vendors related to the project to solve their finance problems
15. Participate in preparing budgeting estimates for upcoming offers.
16. Perform any other task as assigned by direct manager
17. Coordinate with top management to prepare risk register for the project including(root cause, mitigation plan and mitigation strategy) and its effect on the project budget and schedule
18. Organize and coordinate site engineering activities and provide integration with the H.O. engineering team regarding Engineering activities
19. Attending Kick-Off meetings, project review meetings for the projects.
20. Participating in Client/contractor meetings and resolving Client/engineering and management project issues.
21. Review and control Project Engineering Schedule and evaluate the submitted delay analysis and tracking it.
