Prepare estimates on complex projects, drawings, and plans. Review takeoffs provided by the Engineering Department/Q.S. and checks for mathematical and technical accuracy.
Prepare detailed breakdown of components and elements of estimates for systems and subsystems.
Prepare, compare, and analyze Bills of Quantity, and prepare contracts, budgets, and other documents.
Assign material costs and staffing costs to the takeoffs, and obtain mail and telephone quotes for materials and services.
