To manage all the recruitment transactional processes (cycles) for specifically
allocated vacancies (by the Recruitment Team Manager), to include:
a. Receipt and follow through of approval to fill from Directorates
b. To receive and check all job adverts on to County Council job websites and
external media (both electronic and manual applications)
c. Overseeing the recording and tracking of job applications
d. On-going monitoring and analysis of spend associated with each vacancy
e. Ensuring that all job application packs/forms are sent out to applicants
f. Compiling short-list and interview packs for managers
g. Ensuring that all relevant communication to managers and applicants are
sent out
h. Assist with production of relevant management information and reports,
including; advertising spend, temporary agency usage, ethnic and disability
monitoring, and specific recruitment related management information
including time to fill and cost per hire etc
2. Liaison with external advertising agencies and temporary recruitment agencies
3. To coordinate the redeployment program, which assists employees who are
seeking internal alternative employment opportunities
4. To coordinate the Work Experience and Graduate Recruitment Programs
5. To act as the first point of contact for all candidates
6. To coordinate promotion of the company at recruitment and careers events
7. To support the Recruitment Marketing Manager on external projects
8. To offer cover, as and when required for other recruitment team members, including
Senior Recruitment Coordinators and Recruitment Administrators
9. To liaise with the recruitment contact center and deal with application queries
10. To deal with and resolve queries relating to recruitment and advertising
11. To undertake routine office duties to support the central recruitment team
