• Responsible the informations of period and cost of (forced outage, planning outage).
• Responsible for Maintenance types (RTF, PM, CM, IM and PDM)
• Prepare the daily, monthly & annual report of operations process which led to the identification of the weak points in the system.
• Prepare drafts and/or final reports including: as required, sketches or drawings indicating the status of acceptance and rejection and the necessary details and compiling of final reports.
• Responsible for Guarantee inspection during the re-establishment and modernization for old unit in Kafr El-Dawar power station to change from PLC & RELAY SYSTEM to DCS control system.
• Make weakly report during warranty period of the power plant.
• Determine a punch list according to document specifications.
• Responsible for commissioning & performance tests (Boiler - Turbine & their auxiliaries )
• Responsible for plant troubleshooting, performance test, plant efficiency improvement
• prepare annual maintenance programs (planning shut down).
• Prepare and manage an annual spare parts budget items.
• Increase technicians motivation by redesigning the workshop layout, improving workshop facilities and application of QCC (Quality Control Circles).
• Prepare overhauling programs according to the manufacturer's instructions MPIS (every 5 years for boiler & 50 000 hrs for turbine).
• Analyze & Prepare technical reports about the station modules and give necessary recommendations to reduce consumption rate of fuel, Deviations & forced outage period for units .
• Preparation of fuel and spare parts for the units needs
• Follow-up condition of the equipment and software maintenance and overhaul and report weekly to the company
• Responsible for committee faults the company to decrease equipment failure and spare parts consumption by application of preventive and periodic maintenance

•Participating in Studying, Analyses, Test and Make Specification for Electrical Components in 220 kV switchyard control center 6.3 kV switchgear panels .

•Performs, inspection and/or tests on electrical motors, generators, transformers, switches and other miscellaneous items .

EXPERIENCE:
• Good knowledge of design and engineering documents for operation and maintenance plant (start/stop sequence operation, normal operational requirements and emergency situations ).

• Have a basic understanding of thermal balance of plant mechanical equipment/systems; such as heat recovery steam generators/boilers, condensers, steam/gas turbines, air compressors, combustors, fuel systems and other plant auxiliary systems.
• Familiar with power plant’s operational requirement associated with different modes of operation (islanding, grid connected, voltage control, power factor control) and grid code requirements.
• Have a good understanding of plant start/stop sequences, operational and interlocking philosophies. Have strong analytical and problem solving skills to investigate, analyze and troubleshoot the faults/failures, and make recommendations for the most cost-effective corrective actions.
• Have awareness of environmental and operational constraints associated with thermal power plants.
