Managing operations and maintenance team who’s responsible on all field
maintenance related activities (technical and non-technical) for Delta, Sinai and Alex
regions in Etisalat Misr network.
Responsibilities:-
1. Managing all corrective maintenance related activities.
* Follow all corrective maintenance (CM) activities to ensure
achieving all network KPIs and reflect any violations in managed
service KPIs.
* Analyzing CM activities and take definitive actions to prevent
problem repetition.
2. Managing all preventive maintenance related activities:
* Drive preventive maintenance plan and follow the progress to
ensure 100% achievements.
* Ensure preventive maintenance is being done as per Etisalat
quality standards.
* Follow electromechanical equipment preventive maintenance and
control/approve consumables usage.
* Ensure that etisalat sites are snags free and H&S risk free.
3. Managing all electromechanical related activities:
* Generator overhauling, warranty, spare parts, corrective
maintenance and preventive maintenance.
* All ACs related issues.
4. Managing all site retention activities:
* All owners’ related issues, from contracts management, payment
management, and rent renewal management.
* All guards’ related issues from hiring, salaries, renewal and
replacement.
* All security related issues, including guarding and physical security.
5. Vendor and managed service evaluation and KPIs reporting.
6. Spare parts management:
* Manage all spare parts stock and proactively cover any shortage
before occurrence.
* Manage 3rd
party material delivery, stock distribution and
consumption.
7. Batteries recovery (faulty/stolen) to comply with sites’ power criteria.
8. Report all lost/damaged sites to insurance and ensure fulfilling all
insurance requirements from BOQs and police reports.
9. Etisalat FM team performance management, training and development.
Title: - Transmission Engineer
Responsibilities:-
Installation and maintenance of NEC Microwave equipment (PDH
Pasolink, SDH_Pasolink+, SDH_Pasolink+ XPIC, SDH_3000S,
SDH_3000S XPIC).
Installation and Maintenance of NEC MUX equipment (C-Node and ADR).
Network management for NEC Pasolink+ and 3000S equipment.
Installation and test of NEC CX2600/220 multiservice switch.

Participation in SDH Backbone upgrade (installation and cutover) from
3000S (5+0) to 3000S XPIC (4+1) x2 (Djezzy).
C-Node MUX commissioning for two weeks (Tele Diffusion D’Algerie).
CX Multiservice switch (CX2600/220) trail installation and test (Djezzy).
SDH (Paso+, Paso+ XPIC, 3000S, 3000S XPIC) Operation and
maintenance(From 1st May-06):
1.6 Million dollar project consists of 100Hops of 3000S equipment and
70 Hops of PASO+ family covering thousands of kilometers in Algeria,
providing variant support types to customer (on call, on NMS and on site
support).
Managing the entire project starting from 1st May-07: Receiving customer requests, respecting the contract scope of work, faulty
material management, assure staff management and task distribution
and reporting to customer, NEC Alger local office and head quarter in
Japan.
