- Improving Operational Efficiencies: Monitor, track & coordinate for the various logistics related activities for day to day operational efficiency & analysis.
- Key point of contact for all transport related issues for NAME BU’s.
- Ensure shipment planning on time in full, tendering loads to transporters.
- Responsibility of managing the Logistics Digital transformation projects.
- Focal point between Logistics, Digital supply chain team, and IT.
- Map down the current Logistics Process and identify areas which could be automated or digitized.
- Understand whether there are existing global solutions or there is a need to develop local solution.
- Manage projects between operations team, Digital S.C. team & IT teams.
- Bring savings and improve efficiencies through digital solutions.
- Work on cluster Financials and provide visibility and areas of improvements.
- Ensure Truck Utilization & Placement at distribution centres (DC) and factories in NAME region.
- Track deliveries and ensure service levels at DCs/factories.
- Track carrier reliability and conduct operational meetings with carriers.
- Coordinate with Customer Service Teams to manage any issues during customer receiving.
- Monitor Transport-Related Service Losses & feed back to the planning lead for analyzing and plugging these loss gaps.
- Monitor and ensure compliance of right truck type for the right load/route for primary and secondary transportation.
- Ensure efficiencies and strict compliance for direct dispatch, loading/unloading operations, etc.
- Monitor and execute lead time reduction by coordinating with transporter/ factory and warehouse teams in NAME countries.
- Lead transport execution specialists based out of all the BU’s in NAME.
- Track and document transporter contract compliance.
- Implementing and extending scope of Oracle Transportation Management to cover all NAME Countries.
- The U2K2 SAP Support Analyst typically responsible for Supply Chain Operations modules including Production Planning, Quality Management, Warehouse Management, Materials Management and all relevant MM/SD interfaces in all of Unilever Mashreq entities.
- Analyzing business process and driving projects related to new process and/or new factories.
- Driving business improvements through monitoring current business performance and implementing new processes if needed.
- On boarding and guiding users to any new process and training for any new user.
- Monitoring business KPIs and making sure that we’re meeting the required targets in each of the fields of production planning, quality management, and warehouse.
- Handling daily support issues and analyzing the root causes, guiding users to correct process and/or addressing the respective U2K2 team for any changes required in master data or in system configuration.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze the current business processes and scenarios of the client and recommend/develop solutions to meet the clients need.
- Helping client in developing planning process flow and production control including SOP, demand management, MRP, and production controlling and monitoring.
- Improving planning results using different system capabilities and different planning/forecasting models according to each client.
- Design, configuration, training and testing of SAP Production Planning and Quality Management modules.
- Helping and training clients on the new process flow for different production environments.
- Responsible primarily for successful implementation of SAP, providing functional expertise, guidance, presentation, and instruction on SAP products to clients.
- Provide detailed knowledge of industry best practices.
- Manage and participate in SAP Business All-In-One implementations.
- Act as support with client for troubleshooting: investigate, analyze, and solve software problems.
