The Blue Group is a group of 9 Companies “Sports Corner, Intelligent Design, Design Hub, The Blue Insight, Menassa, Rasen Sports, Sports Corner Oman, Sports Corner KSA.
Sports Corner is one of the leading companies in the sports retail in Qatar was established since 39 years old. And it has the franchise of Adidas in Qatar as well, with 20 Showrooms all over the State of Qatar, with a turnover more than 250 Million.
Key Deliverables:
Re evaluating the Finance Team, and establish a strong finance team with 23 employees serving the whole group.
Implementing a new financial reporting modules along with it key deliverables for the board of directors and the partners.
A part of the policies and procedures committee in the Group and finalizing, reviewing, evaluating all departments,
subsidiaries policies and procedures. And announce it to the whole group.
Effective Year end financials closing.
Responsibilities:
Forecasting monthly, quarterly and annual results Approving or rejecting budgets
Conducting risk management
Forecast monthly, quarterly and annual results

Evaluate and decide on investments
Supervise a team of Finance, Accounting and Risk & Reporting Analyst Allocate resources and manage cash flows
Conduct profit and cost analyses
Develop secure procedures to maintain confidential information
Ensure all accounting activities and internal audits comply with financial regulations Consult board members about funding options
Recommend cost-reducing solutions
Assist in company-wide budgetary planning
- Establishing the Company from Scratch and announcing it to the Local market.
- Establishing all the financial reporting modules along with it key deliverables for the board of directors and the partners.
- Establishing and Implementing the policies and procedures for the Financial and the commercial day to day business.
- Implementing the company strategic budgeting and financing that meets the company requirements
CFO Responsibilities:
- Mentoring the company liabilities as legal contracts, statutory & tax obligations, hidden liabilities in the form of contingencies, leases, or insurance summaries, and expectations from loan covenants and/or the board of directors.
- Monitoring the Company performance by generating customer value and translate the operational metrics into measures for performance.
- Supervising other departments that have an effect on the overall financial impact on the company.
- Establish financial relationships and maintain lines of communication with investment bankers, financial analysts, and shareholders in conjunction with the President. You administer banking arrangements and loan agreements and maintain adequate sources of capital for the company’s current borrowings from commercial banks and other lending institutions.
- Control the cash flow position throughout the company, understand the sources and uses of cash, and maintain the integrity of funds, securities and other valuable documents.
- Approve all agreements concerning financial obligations and other actions requiring a commitment of financial resources.
- Analyzes company shareholder relations policies, procedures, and information programs, including the annual and interim reports to shareholders and the Board of Directors, as well as recommends to the CEO new or revised policies, procedures, or programs when needed.
- Overseeing the budget process, collecting the inputs, and comparing the company’s actual performance with estimates.

Financial Controller (Qatar - Dubai)
Managing the finance department for bluu Qatar & bluu Dubai for a turnover more than 500 Million Qatari Riyals including managing of Payables section, Payables forecasts, and budgets. Suppliers Accounts reconciliation, and petty cash management. Administer all payables and receivables management systems, Develop highly skilled accounting and financial management team to achieve established objectives. Interact with the Board of Directors and President concerning financial reports and day-to-day financial functions through the entire company departments.
Selected Highlights as Financial Controller:
➢ Preparing and controlling Financial reports for all departments and submitting them to the Financial advisor to the board of Directors and Group CFO.
➢ Managing entire financial management functions including development of monthly / quarterly financial statements, financial forecasts and budgets.
➢ Management of Auditor for all sections in accounts and finance department.
➢ Managing Dubai branch general accounting functions, including AR / AP, accounts reconciliation, financial statements, budgeting and forecasting and Cash Management.

➢ Develop highly skilled accounting and financial management team to achieve established objectives.

Overseas general accounting Payables functions, suppliers Accounts reconciliation, and petty cash management. Administer all payables management systems, Develop highly skilled accounting and financial management team to achieve established objectives. Interact with the Board of Directors and President concerning Payables forecasts and reports.
