Setting up arrangement of lines granted:
Allocating credit lines needed to cover AAIB units & branches requirements to ensure conducting their business smoothly along with monitoring limits granted to Financial Institutions and analyzing their utilization to ensure that the business relationship is maintained on a high performing standard. Periodically creates, manages and provides various reports to top management.
Management, Monitoring and Problem Solving within correspondent banking relation:
Establishing, Renewing and Suspending Credit Limits Granted on Funded and Non-Funded Basis to Local, Regional, and Multinational Financial Institutions.
Conducting credit appraisals for setting or increasing credit lines assigned to our correspondent banks.
Prepare Sovereign studies
Preparing different Studies that is concentrating on Economic, Financial Sector and Political Stability to ensure safety of performing Trade and Foreign Exchange Transactions, and Lending Financial Institutions within different countries.
Conduct lending risk valuation:
Conducting Financial Institutions Credit Worthiness Studies presented in a Credit Appraisal Memorandum to be submitted annually and/or Per Transaction on Case by Case Basis backed by information obtained from Rating Agencies and Business Partners.
Marketing
Market the bank’s treasury and structured products/funds to clients and banks as well as seek out new distribution opportunities in the region and beyond through various meetings and calls attended
Develop new business
Originating structured transactions with financing base and structure FI transactions and seek approval from the management via credit appraisals. (Forfeiting, risk participation..)
Relationship Management with correspondent Banks:
Building up and maintaining a comprehensive business relationship with other Financial Institutions and correspondent banks. Spot new business opportunities and networking with both domestic and foreign banks. Work in close coordination with correspondent banks to ensure smooth execution of business. Managing business relations with correspondent banks on a reciprocal basis to maintain a win -win scenario for both parties.

Operations:-
Settlement of all transactions done by trading Dept. in both capital &money market.
Calculate the fund & portfolios net asset value on a daily basis.
Preparation of documentation for the existing & new funds to be managed terms & conditions, mandate letters discretionary portfolios agreement.
Evaluate &negotiate for purchase of services with relevant parties.
Financial Control:-
Attend meetings with compliance & external audit to ensure best practice is maintained & all new changes and developments are complied with.
Prepare financial statements on a regular basis according to the regulatory authorities.
Participating in the preparation of Business budgets.
Customize different reports according to top management’s requirements.
Controlling & Monitoring Fixed assets depreciation.
Reviewing all Customer Services Transactions:-
Reviewing and establishing all kinds of fixed deposits & certificates of deposit.
Reviewing and Recording certified cheques issuance.
Reviewing and Establishing all time deposits and long term certificates.
Supervising Consumer Loans & Credit Cards:-
Syndication loan processing.
Loans granting against certificates of deposit according to Credit Div. appraisal.
Auto loans granting according to retail Div. appraisals.
Personal loans processing and pricing.
Credit Cards repayment on due dates.
Preparing of all documents and required guarantees to granting credit facilities.
Clearing & Collection:-
Reviewing the preparations of cheques by the branch before sending to the central division.
Other Responsibilities:-
Preparing a monthly report headed to Central Bank of Egypt of all Foreign Exchange transactions.
Foreign Exchange transactions.
Carry out outgoing SWIFT transfers and processing of incomings as well.
Processing of monthly staff pensions.
Monitoring all kinds of standing instructions.
Issuance of all Balance certificates.
Monitoring blocked amounts against Credit Cards & Certificates of deposit.
Issuance of certificates for companies under establishment.
Supervising all Customer Services Activities:-
Reviewing all time deposits and long term certificates.
Reviewing certified cheques issuance.
Reviewing all Payment Orders, Drafts issuance & SWIFT transfers as well.
Reviewing balance certificates for customers
Monitoring standing instructions, standing orders & stop payments.
Monitoring delivering of ATM cards to customers.
Supervising Consumer Loans & Credit Cards:-
Revising all consumer loans documentation along with data entry on the system.
In-charge of revising Credit Card applications with offering limits for customers.
Handling complaints regarding late interests and overdue from customers.
Clearing & Collection:-
Reviewing the preparations of cheques by the branch before sending to the central division.
Other Responsibilities:-
Preparing the financial reports concerning the financial position of the branch on both weekly and monthly basis.
ATM In-Charge for replenishment and disputes.
Conducting self-audit at the branch.
Training Courses, on-the-job training, rotation to head office departments and some central branches.
