Performance Manager, LD CUNEA (Jan 2012-May 2013)
LD CUNEA Performance manager is a new role inside RMEA LD organization that each CU should have its own
performance manager.
Its main responsibilities are: To build solid reporting system inside LD over CU NEA level.
To create the balance score card (BSC) for LD over the CU NEA.
Tracking of progress reporting over the CU, and analyzing the results to see weaknesses, strengths, and areas for improvement.
To analyze results, create action plans with line managers to achieve targets in the areas with weak performance.
Reporting performance records and action plans to RMEA LD head on a monthly basis.
Performance Manager, FSO Egypt (April2011-Jan2012)
FSO Egypt Performance manager is a new role inside FSO Egypt.
Its main responsibilities are: To build solid reporting system inside FSO Egypt

Acting head of FSO Egypt (Jan2010-June2010)
In Addition to my responsibility as line manager in FSO, I have been assigned as acting head of FSO Egypt for 6 months, in the transition period between 2 managers.
In FSO Egypt we have almost all Field Services activities (SA/CW, Rollout, Supervision, QA, Acceptance, Field
Maintenance) with about 430 employees on all levels starting from Technicians up to line managers.
During this period I have made the 2010 budget for 7 Cost centers we have in FSO Egypt, in addition to following the cost
control for the CCs.
I have been responsible direct and indirect (as escalation point) for all the activities and communication with the project and program managers for the accounts we have in Egypt (Vodafone, Etisalat, and Telecom Egypt)
Customer Project Manager (Jan 2009-May2009)
Running 5 projects within Vodafone account (Battery swap, IBS-San Stefano, RAU Replacement, Site enhancement, and
FOA TEMS Automatic 7.1), Site Enhancement project was still on the contract negotiation phase, and I went through it till execution started.
As a CPM I was responsible for project planning, resource planning, scheduling, Customer interfacing for all project
aspects, acceptance, and invoicing.
There is a 2 month overlapping between this job and the job as Supervision and quality line manager, as I was taking the 2 roles till a replacement CPM has been assigned.

Acceptance manager for Vodafone Egypt Project (Aug2008-Jan2009)
The main task is running a cleanup project for Vodafone Egypt, to clean all the tasks that are not finally accepted, in order to get the final acceptance for it.
This includes cleaning all the defects in installations, testing the equipment not tested, and arranging the acceptance
procedure for it
This besides running some other projects with the same customer, like FOA for automatic TEMS testing.
IE manager for Fixed Networks Projects, Ericsson KSA (June2007-July2008)
The Main Issue we have now is to build a team to do the IE for fixed networks in house, as we don't have this competence in the MU KSA.
We are expecting projects in this area as there are some licenses (in addition to the existing one for STC which is customer in the GSM area as well), so, are trying to be prepared for this by building a team to do the IE for core (NGN/MGW), as well as the access part (GPON, MSAN, and VDSL) using Ericsson standard tool (PPT-SE), and up to customer requirement and satisfaction.
IE and Documentation manager for Etisalat Egypt Project (Dec2006-May2007)
The project started with 2 phases, and it is a very aggressive project as the competition between the new operator and the 2 existing operators is very tough, and we have it in Ericsson as a turnkey project.
As an IE manager, I am managing a team of 10 IE engineers, 7 locals and 3 consultants, the team is planned to expand to be about 12 persons. The IE team is responsible for material ordering, and creation of site installation documents, and as built
documentations for (RBS, Minilink TN, Minilink HC, Marconi ADM, and Marconi STM-1 links)
The documents include CAD drawings, Site configuration documents, cabling diagrams, and testing documents.
As a documentation manager I am managing another team of 5 document controllers, they are responsible for documenting all the site related documents regarding SA, CW, and telecom installations.
Also responsible for establishing a documentation process within Ericsson, and between Ericsson and other parties

IE Engineer (Jan2000-Dec2006)
In Egypt we are working with a much known customer, Vodafone, we started the project in 1998, and it is still ongoing
project with a huge expansions yearly.
And as an I/E Engineer I am responsible for the installation engineering of the BTS sites including site surveys, equipment
positioning Planning, doing equipment placement drawings using AutoCAD, RBS, ML, And DXX documentations, creating
BOQ for RBS, ML, And DXX, creating installation binders, and As Built Documentations.
Creating Product packages for ordering used the specified tools, and developing solutions and bill of materials for RBS (Radio
Base Station), ML (Microwave links), and DXX (Digital cross connects) for both PDH&SDH Part of Core3 for the project,
helping Key Account Management, and Project management creating offers, solutions, and bill of quantities for both hardware and services.
Working as I/E Engineer within Ericsson Sudan (BSD) projects with Mobitel (currently Zain), itisa big project started on
May 02, and it is still ongoing, it is to expand Mobitel GSM network in all over Sudan, and we succeeded to help Mobitel to expand their network from 250 K subscribers to more than 1.2M subscribers, and we are still delivering more equipment and services efficiently in there. So, from the beginning of the project I was working for I/E role in Sudan, starting with a
surveys to swap out Alcatel equipment, doing BOQ for RBS, and ML, also creating documentations (Installation C-
Modules), also I was
responsible for creating RBS order and solutions for phases 6, 8.2, 9.2, and 10
I am also helping -if requested- in checking the Minilink and ADM solutions for the projects in there.
