- Technical Specialist for the Saudi Electricity Network including
Construction, Modification, O&M of Transmission Assets for Overhead
Transmission lines from 110kV up to 380kV.
- Support all Operation Areas (COA, EOA, WOA & SOA) to monitor &
upgrade the existing network to maintain the reliability in the network.
- Review the existing modern techniques and compare it with GCC modern techniques to have a Unique
modern Electricity System in the Middle East.
- Working as Project Manager for Overhead Transmission Line Projects & Power Switching Station (PSS)
Projects from Site survey, Mobilization, Soil Investigation, Civil Works, Erection, Stringing and Testing &
Commissioning.
- Support & participate in bidding stage for OHTL projects by providing detailed breakdown.
- Negotiate with subcontractors and review the availability of their resources to avoid any delay/risk.
- Support & participate by reviewing the technical submittals with the technical office team.
- Review the details of MR, PO, ITP, FAT for all project materials.
- Monitor project progress and set deadlines to maintain the project as per the time schedule.
- Attend site weekly progress meeting with the consultant & client and ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
- Manage the project team & set the ground rules and motivate all staff to achieve the project goals.
- Dealing with all stakeholders to maintain the project as per the time schedule.
- Review the progress invoice and maintain the project cost as per the budget & Cash In- Cash out plan.

- Project Manager: The turnkey basis of the approach cables and patch panels for 15 routes 500kV, the
project covers design, manufacture, factory test, delivery, installation & commissioning, the total length of
approach cables is 30kM and the total number of patch panels is 50 indoor termination boxes - contract
price 2M L.E. (Closing Phase)
- Project Manager: The turnkey implementation for Construction of 4 Terminal towers & 4 Power
Switching Stations (PSS) for diversion of the contradicting OHTLs (220kV El Ameria/El Ethelyn - 220kV
El Ameria/Mogamaa El Ghazl - 220kV Mogamaa El Ghazl/Abo El Matamier) with Bashaier El Khier-6

- Project Manager: The turnkey implementation for Construction of 220 KV Double Circuit OHTL
Ismaelia East substation / WPS (1) substation, with approximate length (55) km Triple bundle per phase
using AAAC 405 mm conductors' type and shield wire OPGW - contract price 253M L.E. (Initial Phase)
❖ Core Responsibilities:
- Inspects overhead lines circuits as per the plan/ schedule in order to detect any potential weak points and take preventive action before break-down to improve the system reliability.
- Operates all types of 400kV/ 220kV /132kV/ 66kV/ 33kV switchgears and associated equipment as 400kV Senior Authorized Engineer from Director of Electricity Network Affairs of KAHRAMAA.
- Technical member of the review and updating Committee for the 2nd version of KAHRAMAA Regulations for works in the Vicinity of electricity transmission installations (EN-G1).
- Technical evaluation member for GTC/989/2020 for Routine maintenance & breakdown repairs of EHV & HV Overhead lines.
- Technical evaluation member for GTC/950/2019 for Establishment of EHV & HV Overhead Lines.
- Attend FAT for Clamps and Accessories for ACCC Amsterdam conductor - Mosdorfer (GTC/950/2019).
- Responsible for timely completion of annual work programs to ensure proper maintenance of overhead lines and equipment.
- Performs standby duty for OHL and Carries out the necessary repair process of faults in the 400kV /220kV/ 132kV/ 66kV/ 33kV Overhead lines to ensure restoration of supply at the earliest.
- Develops safety document for the maintenance, repairing and commissioning, dismantling work of the transmission 400kV/ 220kV/ 132kV/ 66kV/ 33kV overhead lines.
- Conducts closing/opening operations of lines for planned events due to external agency requirements, such as overhead line crossings etc.
- Review the progress of Routine Maintenance & Breakdown Repairs Contract & Verifies the diary sheets.
- Review the progress of RTV Coating of Insulators in 220kV/ 132kV/ 66kV/ 33kV OHL Contract.
- Review and approve Service Information Sheet (SIS) to give permission for contractors to work in the Vicinity of Overhead Line Right of Way (ROW).
- Review the Scope of Work for OHL/UG Cables/Pipeline/Road construction contractors which interface with the existing Overhead lines network.
- Conducts technical evaluation of all materials used for 400kV/ 220kV/ 132kV/ 66kV/ 33kV Overhead lines to ensure compliance to international standards and internal quality standards.
- Carries out and ensures compliance of all activities within the Maintenance Section are in line with Kahramaa health and safety regulations.
- Conducts technical evaluation of tender documents related to maintenance, diversion work etc.
- Manages the contract and conducts safety inspections for transmission lines and substations.
- Tracks the spare parts stock consumptions and raises requirements of spare parts.
- Assists the Senior Engineer in preparing defects list and other technical aspects.
- Assists the Senior Engineer in preparing scope of works, specifications and evaluation for maintenance contract and purchase related work.
- Conducts periodic site inspection work for works within the Vicinity of Overhead Line Right of Way.
- Prepares monthly maintenance reports.
- I worked as Site manager on a project double circuit 110 kV OHTL at Yanbu (NGSA & Saudi Aramco).
- LSTK Basis project, contract price: 35.4 Million SAR, Route Length: 12.5 km, Double circuit, Twin bundle AAAC 500 mm2, Two OPGW 96 fiber, Lattice steel tower.
- Site Survey, prepare base design for materials, negotiate with suppliers & Subcontractors, Attend SEC meetings, Supervise Duplex System as painting for Steel towers & RTV coating for Porcelain Long Rod Insulators, Manage all site activities "Mobilization, Construction of access road, Soil Investigations, Construction Pads, Foundations".
- Attend the coating of insulators (RTV) and witness of all procedures and tests.
- Attend the Loading-test for the new design of Suspension & tension towers at Al Babtain testing station.
- Attend site training for Duplex Tower Painting System for steel tower with HEMPEL team and supervise the contractor during the complete process.
- Preparation of the technical file for tenders for projects of HV OHTL & MV Distribution Networks.
- Study contracts and technical specifications for projects of HV OHTL & MV Distribution Networks.
- Create BOQ if it’s not available and make breakdown for lump-sum quantities.
- Preparation of the cost comparison for all suppliers and get the best price with the acceptable criteria.
- Preparation of the cost sheet for projects of HV OHTL & MV Distribution Networks.
- Help suppliers in the technical aspects in the preparation of the design according to the requirements of the project owner.
- Provide technical solutions and suggestions as an alternative offer for the project owner.
- Study contracts and technical specifications for projects of Overhead Transmission Lines.
- Follow-up Abu Quir - Badr 500kV S/C OHTL Project. (Main Contractor Cobra Electricidade Co. & El Sewedy Electric T&D Company).
- Follow-up Abu Quir / Kafr El Zayat / Bassous 500kV D/C OHTL Project. (Main Contractor KEC International Limited Company).
- Inspection of Insulators at ECMEI, Conductors at El Sewedy Cables & El Sewedy Energya and Towers at Metalco, Al Babtain & ASF (Proto-Type & Tower Materials).
- Witness for all tests of Conductors type (ACSR 490/65 mm2, AACSR 94.1 mm2, AAAC 506.7 mm2, GSW 108 mm2, Earth Wire 74.4 mm2 & OPGW) & Witness for all tests of towers (Mechanical & Chemical).
- Follow-up visit work sites weekly.
- Follow-up to the project schedule and performance rates & Revision
Invoices. - Prepare Daily, Weekly & Monthly Reports.
