Legal Guidance
• Providing advice and guidance to the management, whether they’re individuals or organizations.
• Provide general legal advice on best practices for compliance, input on business decisions and contract negotiations, and legal strategies for litigation and other legal activities.

Represent company / Employer
• Represents the company at hearings and trials. And gathers relevant information and negotiate on client’s behalf.
• Coordinate with law firms and assist in handling cases and in the preparation of legal opinion/specific advice.

Conduct Legal Research
• Consult previous case information to determine its relevance to company current concerns and locate information on specific laws pertaining to company activities.
• Conduct research based on company’ specific needs and cases in order to provide accurate and timely advice and solutions.

Draft Contracts - Legal Correspondence
• Draft, review and negotiate the company’s contractual agreements related to sales leasing, MOUs, LOIs, Joint venture, consultancy and service agreements etc. to ensure that the company’s best commercial and contractual position is attained.
• Ensures that the agreements are readable and enforceable and that represent the company best interests.
• Send letters on the company behalf to external parties and officials.
• Manage, coordinate and follow up on all the company legal activities with any internal or external third parties.

Ensure Compliance
• Ensures that the company procedures and policies are comply with laws and guidelines related to the company business or other activities.
• Improve company strategies and compliance framework.
• Anticipate changing laws and codes that the company may not be aware of.

• Draft memoranda for court of different stages, rental committees and expertise missions, as well as power of attorneys, legal notices and formal applications.
• Hold meetings with firms business associates to discuss mutual matters and work on legal strategy of mutual cases.
• Hold meetings with firm’s clients to provide them with legal advice, take necessary information for further legal action, discuss case developments etc.
• Attend (court appointed) expert meetings to discuss cases and submit supporting documentation and memoranda.
• Lodge criminal complaints (bounced cheques, breach of trust, sabotage etc.) at various police stations and conducting the necessary follow-up until referral to public prosecution.
• Executing precautionary attachments with court execution officers.
• Conduct legal research (in UAE’s various codes, court of cassation judgments etc.) for firms partners, client requirement and self.
• Provide necessary updates for firm’s clients upon hearings and (client’s or procedural) requirement.
• Maintain the correspondence between the firm and its clients and business associates.
• Draft legal opinion on different cases and Prepare legal due diligence reports.
• Undertake of incorporation of new companies, branches of foreign companies as well as drafting their memorandum of association and articles of association.

• Manage all legal activities the company.
• Support senior management in providing legal advice and counsel on handling litigation and other legal matters involving the company.
• Developing and modifying policies and procedures to conform to legal requirements.

• Process debt recovery for client, service of legal notices, filing of civil and /or criminal case before judicial authorities.
• Registration of Intellectual Property Rights
• Conduct Legal Search work
• Represent clients in criminal and civil litigation and other legal proceedings.
• Draft memoranda for presentation in both criminal and civil actions.
• Interview clients and witnesses and draft statements.

Represent indigent defendants.

Successfully completed beginner’s course in the French Cultural Center in Damascus.
