• Accredited to Iso 17025 in complete analysis of wastewater and drinking water,
• Leading team of laboratory assistant & Laboratory chemists in an efficient & effective manner and reporting to the lab manager,
• Providing specialist professional advice to superiors as required.
• Supporting other areas of the business by preparing standard solutions by manufacturing small-scale quantities of common chemicals for other areas of business.
• Conducting day to day chemical analysis in accordance with accepted international standards & methodologies.
• Maintaining stock of laboratory equipment and assist in the selection of laboratory equipment according to laboratory equipment requirements.
• Maintaining all the test equipment in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions and laboratory procedures.
• Reviewing and reporting results via LIMS.
• Analyzing a daily QC sample for every test prior to analysis and compare with the upper and lower warning limits to ensure accuracy.
• Maintaining GLP and safety standards.
•1. Accredited according to ISO 17025 in performing analysis by GC, HPLC, AAS, and UV/VIS spectrophotometer.
2. Accredited according to ISO 17025 in mycotoxins analysis by HPLC, oils analysis by GC, and heavy metals analysis by AAS,
3. Monitoring all the technical operations and leading the activities inside the lab and implementing the international criteria of quality systems accreditation according to ISO 17025.
4. Performing complete test methods validations.
5. Ensuring and performing calibrations for the GC, HPLC, AAS instruments by certified reference standard solutions.
6. Performing quality control daily check before analysis using control samples and reference standard solutions.
7. Responsible for interpretation of results and statistical treatment of data.
8. Internal audit skills according to ISO 17025 checklist.
9. Calibration, tuning, maintaining, and troubleshooting of the laboratory equipments,
10. Preparing quality manual, standard operating procedures, working instructions, and quality records.
11. Performing annual and semi annual evaluation for lab chemists. Planning for the development of all laboratory staff to ensure they are competent to carry out their required duties.
12. Maintain the laboratory in a good housekeeping state and ensure that Laboratory safety standards are adhered to.
