I managed day-to-day operations of both the LAN Network Operations and Technical support Team, supporting the Riyadh LAN, and the King dome of Saudi Arabia Wide Area Network consisting of over 30 routers and Firewalls and several Thousand Nodes. My team also Support all client Requests and, We were responsible for new business connections for both Fresenius and other Clients, Assist IT Manager to Provide internal consulting for remote project site managers and clients to help determine the best solutions for connectivity into the Fresenius Private, Provide cost analysis of potential options for connectivity, I prepared project plans and provide coordination for project Implementation and management for multiple projects being implemented across the network, Also spear headed the coordination of standardizing IT work processes across the enterprise created and reviewed technical.
JOB profile:
IT environment: 850 users; 8 sites; 750 Desktop pc, 260 laptop, 380 printers, 18 Routers.
• Administration/maintenance of Servers and LAN Network
• Provides users with first and second level of desktop technical support
• Responds to calls coming in to the Help Desk and assist by providing a first line & second line service support for handling problems
• ensures that a clear understanding of the problem is obtained to enable speedy first line problem solving or escalation to the appropriate area and level of expertise
• follows up on the escalation process to ensure that service standards in terms of quality and response times are met, or exceeded.
• Responsible for the installation of hardware & software for server, workstation & printer.
• Operating systems &updates installation (Windows 2008, Windows 2012, patches& Service)
• Hardware setup, installation and upgrade
• Hardware and software related troubleshooting
• Third-party software installation, such as Ms Office, Antivirus etc.
• Provides technical support for the company's.
• provides structured cabling as well as troubleshooting of LAN of PC terminal
• Daily back-up of the current systems and important files
