-supervising and control the electric grid to
Maintain the continuity of power supply as much possible by :
1- achieving security ( operating loading)
2- achieving power quality ( voltage, frequency)
3- achieving Economic Dispatch ( minimum cost)
and also :
- Execute all switching operations (bus bars, transmission lines, transformers ) in different voltage levels (500, 400, 132, 66 KV )
- supervising & control the interconnection tie lines
-restoring the grid after any interruption as much quickly keeping the security concept
-preparing daily report of electric grid operation
-restoring the electric grid after partial or full black out
-dealing with AGC & Unit commitment
Execute the maintenance of the production lines of (cables & over head transmission lines )
- supervising the two transformers of main electric source
super vising the p.f of the factory
- following the production operation of new sorts of cables
- execute the protective maintenance for the standby production lines to be ready any time
