1- Testing and commissioning RTUs, SCS, Fault Recorders, BCUs, AVRs, UPS, Multifunction power meters and Energy meters installed in 500 KV, 220 KV and 110 KV substations and evaluate their performance.
2- Wiring and connecting all devices in bay such as CTs, VTs, CBs, Isolators, Earth switchesand protective relays with RTU according to connection sheets and drawing.
3- Connect all transformer signals such as mechanical protection of transformer and tap changer signal with RTU according to connection sheets and drawing.
4- Ensure all signals (SPI, DPI, SCO, DCO, MFI, ITI, RCO ... etc) transmitted through RTU and received by Load Dispatch Centre.
5- Installation, Configuration, testing and commissioning switches and routers and SDH system.
6- Apply interface between telecom and RTU/SCS to control center.
7- Pursue the faults, diagnosis and troubleshooting them.
8- Apply point-to-point test with Load Dispatch Centre (LDC).
9- Apply Site Acceptance Test (SAT) for all new devices related to our department.
10- Obtain annual maintenance for all devices in our department.
11- Planning and implementation support for future expansions/modifications of the RTU/SCS projects.
12- Review of the specifications, IO count finalization and Design Engineering documents review.
13- Conducting FAT and SAT for new equipment (RTU/SCS, SDH, Routers, Servers, Gateways, MFPMs, AVRs, Bay Control Units and other IEDs)
14- Familiar and aware of communication protocols in bay level such as TCP/IP, IEC 60870-5-104, 103, 101, IEC 61850, DNP 3, MODBUS RTU, SPABUS, RP570, LON, ... etc.
15- Familiar and aware of communication protocols in substation level such as IEC 60870-5-104, 101
16- Familiar and aware of sub-protocols in substation such as SNMP, STP, RSTP, PRP, HSR, GOOSE and MMS.
17- Familiar with the following brands: ABB, Siemens, AREVA, ALSTOM, Schneider, MR, NARI Electric, NARI Tech, QUATROL and others.
18- Familiar with protective relays connection, configuration and testing & commissioning.
1- Review and approval of Process Flow diagram (PFD) and Piping/Process & Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID), Instrument Specification Sheet (ISS), Instrument Process Data Sheet (IPDS), Instrument Installation Sheet (IIS), Instrument loop diagram (ILD), Wiring Diagram, Process & Pneumatic Hook-up.
2- Preparation of Instruments Index, Instruments Table, IO List for DCS, PLC, ESD and F&G.
3- Pre-bid engineering activities such as Preparation of Material Take OFF (MTO), Material Requisition (MR), Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE) & preparation of Technical Query (TQ) and Recommendation for Various Field Instruments.
4- Verification of vender offers for various field instruments such as Pressure Transmitter, Pressure Gauge, Temp. Transmitter, Temp. Gauge, Control Valves, … etc and corresponding TQ preparation.
5- Execution of instrumentation construction activities, field activities supervision like instrument cable laying, instrument JB and various field instruments installation.
6- Configuration and Testing & Commissioning of Various Field Instruments
7- Assist in training and mentoring of junior staff employee and trainees within E&I department.
8- Review specifications of all equipment which involves control and instrument components.
9- Familiar with different types of electrical and instruments such as:
- LV, MV and HV cable installation and testing.
- Transformer installation, testing and commissioning.
- PLC installation, Testing & commissioning.
- Mass flowmeter, Ultrasonic flowmeter, Electromagnetic flowmeter, Vortex flowmeter and Positive Displacement flowmeter.
- Multi Phase Flowmeter (MPFM).
- Pressure Gauges, Switches and Transmitters.
- Temperature Gauges and Transmitters, Pt100, Bimetallic thermometer, Thermocouples

10- Familiar with different communication protocols such as: Profibus, Modbus and HART protocol.

2- Operation of all parts of station such as pumps, generators, and control panels.
3- Do wiring and connection between PLC and field equipment and devices.
4- Preventive maintenance for electrical equipment such as generators, motors, pumps, lighting, HVAC, actuators and ... etc.
5- Installation and commissioning electrical equipment.
6- Prepare technical specs for electrical equipment according to IEC standard.
7- Perform and document process instrumentation verification and calibration
8- Do point to point test between field devices and SCADA system.
9- Familiar and aware of communication protocols such as MODBUS and PROFIBUS.
10- Troubleshoot, analyze, repair and recommend/ perform service of SCADA, PLC, HMI, instrumentation and motor controls …. etc
11- Prepare the daily report of station and sending it to headquarter
