 Gather the requirements & business needs from the government departments; entities and public in order to provide them with eServices systems.
 Analyze the requirements to ensure meeting customers’ expectations.
 Participate in formulating those requirements and needs into rolling-out the current synergistic eServices systems; enhancing them or proposing new systems.
 Roll-out the eServices systems to the government departments; entities and public in accordance to the defined scope and time.
 Participate in setting-up requirements for new eServices systems according to latest technology; business; government departments and public needs.
 Participate in preparing and updating the roadmap of the adopting, developing, enhancing and rolling-out eServices systems.
 Create and updates a user-friendly documentation of the eServices systems, e.g. user guides, presentations.
 Create and updates technical documentation of the current services, e.g. installation / setup documents.
Projects
o EDMS - CTS
EDMS stands for Enterprise Document Management System. CTS stands for Correspondence Tracking System. it's the official correspondence tracking system for most of Dubai Government Departments.
 Role:
• Conduct training sessions for the CTS users.
• Coordinate the whole rollout process form the configuration till the go live.
• Prepare and update the plan(s)/schedule(s) of implementation.
• Provide 1st level of support (by Phone, Helpdesk or On-Site).
• Perform site visits from time to time to ensure the customer satisfaction.
• Participate in conducting UAT (User Acceptance Tests).
• Analysis of users' feedback and formulate new enhancements requirements.
• Vendor management, coordinate bug fixing, enhancements and deployments between vendor and DeG operations team.
 Technologies: Microsoft .Net technologies. And SharePoint Developed by a vendor.
o GeSS
GeSS stands for Government eServices Statistical System. it enables Government Departments tracking the services eEnablement progress.
 Role:
• Requirements gathering and preparing the business requirements to enhance the current GESS2.
• Support department within and after the rollout.
 Technologies: Java and Oracle DB technologies. Developed by vendor.
o MyID
It has been lunched in coordination with EIDA In order to facilitate procedures for customers of government agencies in Dubai and create a unified and secure electronic identity that allows clients access to all eServices provided by these agencies.
 Role: Development in the registration module, where the user has to register using the Emirates ID. Microsoft .Net along with EDIA APIs has been used to authenticate, verify and sign the registration information.


o Java Projects
 Role: Provides 2nd level support and share in some in the business analysis, for the following projects:
• ePay (ePayment gateway for Dubai Government Departments).
• Sync (Synchronization for Dubai Government Services).
• mPay (Mobile payment for Dubai Government Departments).

o SharePoint Portal Projects
 Role: Enhancements development and implementation, some of these portals are:
• Dubai.ae
• UAE National Day
• EIPA.ae
• Knowledge Fund.

o Microsoft .Net Internal Projects
 Role: Enhancements development for some of in-house projects, web services and windows services.
