Ensure meeting of the plant's health & safety objectives (LTI, near miss reporting, training hours, PGI, Safety meetings, KSB, etc.)
Set expectations for safety standards and improve safety performance for the plant.
Set trend and report leading and lagging HSE performance indicators.
Develop the required procedures & safe working practices for the plant.
Identify and address strengths and improvement opportunities of subordinates through open communication, training, and counseling or corrective action when required.
Conduct site level safety audits, develop corrective action plans.
Manage safety department annual budget and prepare budgetary recommendation in order to meet targets and comply with government mandated HSE regulations.
Effectively present information and respond to questions or concerns from managers, employees, clients, regulatory agencies and the general public.
Identify & track Safety training plan requirements over total plant population.
Identify & prepare the required capital investments budget to improve work environment safety & monitor these projects execution.
Review incidents investigations, root cause analysis and actions.
Manage two waste water treatment station to ensure the discharged water is within local and global specification and legislation.

 Ensure proper implementation of the company SHE systems including GEHSMS, ERP and PI standards across all departments.
 Ensure compliance to both company & local governmental Safety regulations.
 Ensure that all incidents and injuries are reported and investigated.
 Perform regular and irregular site safety inspection.
 Perform, review and assist in performing site risk assessments for both current and newly developed jobs on regular basis.
 Perform regular contractor inspection and evaluation for contractors on site.
 Develop health and safety work procedures in light of the company safety management systems.
 Prepare site personal protective equipment matrix and ensure its availability.
 Administer all actions tracked on the action tracking system.
 Plan and coordinate annual safety training plan.
 Conduct site safety induction training to all new employees, temporary labors, contractors and third party entering the site.
 Administer material safety data sheet for all materials introduced in site.
 Come up with creative solutions for issues arising from different site Audits, Inspections, site tours, near misses and unsafe work condition reports.
 Implement schedule for site planned inspection.
 Coordinate risk assessment programs to cover all site activities.
 Work with maintenance department to fulfill maintenance requirements for Fire alarm system as well as the firefighting equipment.
 Administer the site emergency response plan and coordinate effective test drills.
 Administer all internal and external formal communications .

 Carry out Sampling, inspection & testing of Raw Material & Finished product in accordance with standard procedures to ensure that products are of the required quality.
 Ensure proper Calibration of equipment.
 Monitor & advise on all sanitation & hygiene procedures to ensure compliance to company standards & local authority standards
 Handling all physical and chemical equipment in lab.
 Potato and corn inspection according to Frito-Lay standard procedure.

 Familiar with food safety standards (HACCP - GMP - HYGIENE - CRP )

a) Traceability procedures. b) Pest control.
c) Foreign objects reports.
 Implement & follow up HACCP program.
 Developing, implementing, and maintaining VA system (Frito Lay food safety standard).
 Implementation of documentation control (requirements, establishing, approval and disposal).
 Follow up & implement food safety procedures, documents and records (traceability - pest control - foreign objects reports).
