• Manages and coordinates activities of departments for which responsibility is delegated for further attainment of goals and objectives.
• Ensure factory is properly staffed, trained and performing to acceptable levels.
• Responsible for hiring, training, motivating and developing personnel in order to increase organization effectiveness. Support and promote company human resource programs with heavy emphasis in safety.
• Responsible for production costs, quality, plant safety and environmental issues.
• Provides technical assistance about company products and services to internal and external customers and other technical services activities.
• Plans, manages, and coordinates activities and projects concerned with design, construction, modification, maintenance, and operation of equipment and machinery in the plant.
• Develops plans, schedules, and standard operating procedures for efficient use of materials, machines, and employees to include pollution control, installation, modification, quality control, testing, operating procedure, inspection, and maintenance of equipment
• Coordinates production, distribution, warehousing and maintenance in accordance with schedules, policies, principles, and procedures.
• Reviews and analyzes activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine department or division progress toward stated goals and objectives.
• Modifies production, inventory control, and maintenance programs to maintain and enhance profitable operation of the plant as well as conforming to safety and environmental requirements.
• Responsible for purchasing at the regional level to include working with the Plant General Manager on negotiations with suppliers specifically related to resin purchases.
• Confers with the owners representative and the Plant General Manager to review achievements and discuss required changes in goals or objectives resulting from current status and conditions.
• Participates in formulating and administering company policies and developing long range goals and objectives.
• Manages preparation of various production and budget records and reports.
• Identifies and manages implementation of projects and programs to increase productivity, reduce cost, improve quality and ensure a safe working environment. Researches new technology for application to the company.
• Recommends budgets to management and monitors performance to budget. Reviews major expenses related to the factory operation.
• Design, testing and commissioning of PTC Pilot plant which contain ( PVC Compounding , PVC Pipe Extrusion Machines, PPR Pipe Extrusion Machines, PE blowing film machine, Injection molding machines (150 to 600 Ton), PE Extrusion Blow molding machine (1 to 6 Liter ), PET Stretch blow molding machine.
• Managing of research and development projects for creating new products or developing existing products.
Developing and creating of new Training Courses, Conducting training courses in :
Polymer science & technology (Raw materials and additives )
Testing & quality control
Plastic processing technologies (Extrusion for pipe, film and profile, Injection molding, blow molding, Stretch blow molding, grinding and compounding).
Organizing Seminars and workshops in cooperation of ASSOCOMAPLAST.
Support Egyptian plastic manufactures in the following activities :-
Selection of appropriate polymer and additives for various plastic applications.
1st Product trails and Implementation.
Installation and operation of new production lines, machines and molds.
Quality control on production line and determine the required laboratory tests
Analyzing the results of laboratory tests and linked to the appropriate operating conditions of the plant
Performance Evaluation and resource efficiency.
Establishing technical and marketing feasibility studies.
• Operating pilot plant machinery (Injection Molding - blow molding- Pipe and Film Extrusion)
• Optimizing Suitable operation Conditions Parameters
• Mechanical and Hydraulic Maintenance for Plastic machines
